So happy to find this ? gluten-free restaurant! The owner was so kind to also navigate around my latex fruit allergies and made a special dish for me. Just wonderful people, the server was so kind, and the owner went the extra mile. Definitely eat here even with meat, vegetarian, and vegan options.

I went here on Nov 17th at 8:30 pm and I wish I could rate it better. The cupcake was great! BUT the service and the food were as if they had it out and just reheated. The flatbread was hard and the Saag Shrimp I ordered was disappointing, I could tell the shrimp was reheated due to the hard chew of the meat. Gave it two stars just because the cupcake was good. The service received a 2 dollar tip despite the lack of customer service.

I've been wanting to try Sweet 27 for a couple years and am never in the area when it's open. Happened by it this morning and decided to stop in for some bakery items. Bought half a dozen cupcakes--these were small, but fresh and tasty. The ratio of frosting to cake was about 1:1. Didn't miss the gluten--but I've been GF for about 8 yrs., so my bar has lowered. The low rating is for a strong musty/moldy odor/flavor that overwhelmed the bag of frozen dinner rolls we grabbed hoping for good source of GF bread. My COVID mask blocked the smell in the store--husband noticed it, and we should have left, but i really wanted to try this place--but the dinner rolls were inedible. Took a bite and couldn't swallow. Couldn't scrap the nasty off my tongue fast enough. SO. SO. SO Disgusting. Tossed the whole bag in a dumpster--didn't want it in our house. We did not sit and eat--so, can't speak to the meal menu, but imagine the moldy odor would be a problem. Glad we stopped to check it out, cupcakes were good, but don't need to go back.

The Bombay chicken was incredibly tasty, so was my daughter's pumpkin dish. But my whole fish with Indian spices was out of this world. Just be ready to eat around bones! The potato pancake type appetizer was wonderful. Will go back again. The nightly specials are priced so reasonably, you can't go wrong. Imagine meals beautifully prepared, taste delicious and under $15. You will find it here.

My niece has been newly diagnosed with an esophageal issue that now has her eating gluten and dairy free. She hates it because until she gets used to it, she can't seem too find anything she really likes. UNTIL NOW!! I got her a dozen gluten and dairy free cupcakes from Sweet 27 for Christmas. She loved them so much, they drove to Baltimore from Virginia and begged me to take them here for more cupcakes. We all had one, too. The raspberry/chocolate is fantastic! So rich and decadent. Can't believe it is dairy free. I got two pints of soup to go as well. Thai chicken and spicy coconut curry. Both were very delicious. The curry soup was dairy free! The whole place smells superb, so I want to go back for other things since I've only tried their cupcakes and soup. They made a teenager with a new eating challenge very very happy. And we all know how hard it is to please a teenager!!

This place is amazing! Their bakery is awesome. If you have to eliminate gluten or dairy this place gives you great desserts without making you feel like you're missing anything. And their food is delicious. Highly recommend!
. Three of us visited Sweet 27 for a Sunday breakfast. One of our party has a gluten allergy and since Sweet 27 is reportedly 100% gluten free, we had to try it. Two of us had the combination plates with pancake, eggs, and hash browns. Everything was very good and not just good for someone who is gluten free. The hash browns come with a special sauce (on the side) that is very spicy. We also bought 6-8 cupcakes to take home with us. The lady who waited on us was very pleasant. It was great experience. WE wuill be back when we come to Baltimore again.
