The food is OUTSTANDING! Easily the best Ethiopian food I have ever had , and I have had it before in several places in and around this area .
By the time we were done eating , I ordered extra side dishes ( spicy lentils , cabbage ) to eat and to go ! Ruth , our server was very sweet and nice

Went as a group of 7. Beautiful as always, wonderful workers. Delicious food. Gf and vegan available. Had the spiced tea for the first time and it was soooooo good. The only improvement would be not serving bottles of water. We all have enough microplastics in our system.

Felt like a big time suck with no reward. Servers are inattentive, no host, wait is long for anything. Took ages to be approached to order, I noticed the same for patrons who walked in and sat at the bar. At this point I asked for the check 25 minutes ago. A lot of the flavors were just…. Missing. I will not return and would not recommend for authentic Ethiopian food or hospitality.

We are very disappointed with the food, the meat was very tough. The serving does not have any Ethiopian flavor. Amount is very small. Waiting time is 1 hour long for such bad food.

We are very disappointed with the food. We waited for almost an hour, the injera is OK, but the meats are very normal food, the lamb is very tough, and they do not accompany with any ethiopian sauce. The serve amount is very little, that is OK, but it does not feel Ethiopia food at all.

Exceptional service and food! This was both our first time at this restaurant and we both left very happy. The food and desserts were amazing, seasonings and flavors were on point! And the service from all the staff was wonderful. They even took our photos for us!! We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant!

By far, one of the MOST DELICIOUS food I have ever had in my life. Oh my! We found this place about 3 weeks ago and we have been back at least two times a week since. The atmosphere is groovy, very hip and chic evenings during the weekend. Very quiet and calm during weekday afternoons and evenings! It’s a bit small but if they could ever get live Ethiopian music in this place…oh man, I’d move across the street just to be closer and spend the rest of my life at this place. The staff is very friendly and overall incredible!!

It’d be easy to pass this place by - but the food is excellent, our server took great care of us, really a nice atmosphere inside, and the prices very reasonable. Will definitely go back!

Staff is incredibly friendly. The food was fresh. I got sambusas as an appetizer. The outside was flaky. The inside dough had a pleasant texture to it, and the filling was seasoned very well without being over seasoned. I got a veggie platter and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed. You smell the food when you walk in. I will be going back.

Such succulent flavors for one who misses great Ethiopian Food (yeah, I’m calling out NYC for their overpriced Ethiopian). The Awaze Lamb Tibs were perfectly spicy and not gamey at all. The Shiro (chickpeas) were also wonderfully spiced and paired perfectly with the injera! The lentils and gomen were top notch! Service was fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and attentive!

This place is a gem, and absolutely worth a visit!
