Went for happy hour, there was barely anyone there.. waited for the waitress while she was on her phone then she finally comes to the table & we select what we want then they gave us the wrong items when they came out, only onions & cilantro on the tacos & the food was just decent. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place & I’m definitely not coming back!

I been going here since they opened even under the old name, and a new server named Brandon thought it would be nice to steal from me he tipped himself on my card when I gave him a cash tip then tried to act dumb on the phone like he don’t know what he did. Thank you Mirna for giving me my money back but if Brandon isn’t fired it’s a problem what he did was fraud and he’s a theif !

Angel was an amazing server and had great recommendations. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Baltimore. We’re from Arizona where you get better Mexican food at a drive thru than most places I’ve eaten here but Don Tigre is the best and has a great happy hour! Mexican street corn here is real authentic

We use to love this place. Tonight showed us why we won’t be back. We walked in an hour before closing and every employee looked at us like we shouldn’t be there. Upon getting sat-the first thing the waitress says is “we were about to close”. Again, keep in mind there was an open door, an open sign, it was a full hour before closing, and clearly no cleaning up happening in the dining area. The waitress also told us it was under new management as of three days ago. Sounds and looks like the new owner isn’t interested in getting business (there was also no one there) ??‍♀️

This restaurant recently changed over to new management with a new full Mexican fare without. With respect to the food, the grilled corn and guacamole were great. But the drinks were too sweet. Also, we got the veggie burrito and veggie quesadilla which were very bland and had no sauce. It felt like they had simply steamed the veggies without any seasoning whatsoever. The service was friendly but slow because it looks like they are short staffed. The ambience was good. An overall mixed experience. The prior indies Mexican fusion was certainly missed.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian dishes to only veggie options for each entree and some of the sides.

Don Tigre makes some absolutely delicious food. Been there twice now and everything was great. Service was quick and attentive, chips and salsa were all ready to go. We got burritos, tacos and fajitas, all three were great. Portions were very large, you definitely won't leave hungry. Give this local gem some business.

A welcome addition to South Baltimore! Don Tigre is lively and inviting with good margaritas and tasty food, including freshly made guacamole. What more could you want in a neighborhood Mexican restaurant?!

Don’t waste your time… nothing has changed except the atmosphere from the previous restaurant (taco momma). If you want over priced bland food and insanely boozy large drinks this is the place for you.FYI. They also offer incentives to customers for leaving a good review.

Mexican Indian fusion!! Holy Guacamole, was it good. The flavors just make sense. Try the Indian tacos - I had the chicken, lamb and paneer. The paneer wasn't as good, but the other two were out of this world. They have really cool nacho options too. Give it a go.
