This was our sixth wedding anniversary, and we had a lovely time. I'd like to share some thoughts about the food. The calamari was outstanding and provided a delightful twist compared to the typical fried version—definitely the highlight of our meal. On the other hand, the caprese salad was a bit more average; there seemed to be an imbalance with too much tomato in relation to the mozzarella, which affected the overall quality. The aged ribeye steak was flavorful, but I had requested it medium rare, and it came out more towards medium to medium well. The salmon bruschetta appetizer was decent but didn't stand out, while the beets appetizer was delicious and well-prepared. My wife's duck dish was enjoyable but not extraordinary, and she found the side of mushrooms to have a bit too much sherry sauce for her taste. The dessert selection was rather limited, and I think it could benefit from some enhancements. Overall, we had a lovely experience, with the service being particularly outstanding—which we greatly appreciated. I hope this feedback helps the restaurant as well as those looking to dine there in the future.

A wonderful experience - one of the best meals we have had. Not the cheapest place but you pay for the quality, service and experience. My wife's gluten-free bolognese pasta was amazing, the best she has ever had. They make all pastas in-house including the gluten-free which is comforting for someone with celiac. My pork chop was superb. It was a little noisier than expected but that was mostly because a table of 2 didn't know how to speak in a normal volume. I would definitely recommend Tagliata!

Dined with a friend while visiting from out of town. Honestly we both agreed it was one of the best dining experiences we've had anywhere! The food wine and service were amazing. Will definitely visit again if and when we are in Baltimore!

Excellent food, but the proportions were really small. The grande bolognese was really small portion.

Everything about the night was perfect: stellar attentive service, authentic amazing pastas, delicious salads and mains, curated drink list. There was a little card for my husband's birthday, plus a candle of dessert. I would come back here weekly if I lived in Baltimore!! Total winner all the way around- just outstanding.

Delightful Little Italy experience! Very accommodating when my husband requested an off menu Fettuccine Alfredo!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5 stars)
We visited Tagliata in Fells Point to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and overall, the experience was good. The food was delicious, the drinks were well-crafted, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was lovely and felt perfect for a special occasion.

That said, I was surprised by how overpriced the menu felt—especially given the portion sizes. What really caught me off guard was the $4 per plate charge just to bring out cupcakes I had brought for my daughter’s birthday. I understand policies around outside food, but a $4 fee per plate for something so simple felt excessive and took away from the celebratory spirit.

Great atmosphere and service, but be prepared for premium pricing—and unexpected fees.

I tried to upload photos. However, I kept getting an error message.

Food was delicious. I had the squid ink pasta. Spot was super pricey and the staff was not very friendly so knocked my review down a bit for that. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Didn’t want to leave so grabbed a coffee.

For Italian food, the pricing is high. Great bolognese! Calamari appetizer was unlike any I have had with a Mediterranean style- Ok but a bit disappointing. Very attentive waiters and outside seating was nice; however, benches have no cushions and are a bit low for the table.

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. Our server, Marlo, was exceptional—attentive and personable. We started with fresh bread served with olive oil, a rich truffle butter, and 18-month aged Parmesan—absolutely delicious. The drinks were excellent, and the chicken parm was perfectly prepared. The homemade pasta was incredible. We were also treated to a complimentary appetizer and limoncello shots after dinner, which was a wonderful touch. Easily one of the best restaurants I’ve visited in Baltimore. Highly recommend!

The food is fantastic. The owners actually eat their own food. That's why it is so good. Great menu. Would highly recommend.
