My family and I have always ordered Taharka via their Local Home Delivery, this was our first in person visit to a scoop shop. Customer service was excellent and they were well stocked to provide us with samples, scoops, and pints to go. Will continue to recommend Taharka over other premium ice cream brands like Jenis, Salt & Straw, Van Leeuwen etc.
As a person who can't eat dairy (for 11 years), I'm usually pretty saddened by the non-dairy options at most ice cream places. I had 4-5 options at this place. I picked the key lime pie and toasted coconut and it was THE BEST dairy free ice cream I've ever had. Hands down! We don't usually get ice cream during winter, but this place hit the spot. Cookies and Coffee was my favorite, and the guy working was very patient with the two toddlers in our group. Thanks TB for the great experience!
