Arrived on a Saturday around 8:30p to a sign that said, "On break until 8:45," so we took a brief walk and came back at 8:45 only to find a new sign that said, "Closed for cleaning until 9:00."Given that the posted hours indicate this location closes for the evening at 9:00p, we didn't bother waiting to see if we would be served. We ended up buying a pint of Ben & Jerry's from the gas station on our way home, instead.I highly recommend Taharka Brothers Ice Cream, it's such a shame you can't get it here.

I love Taharka bros. ice cream, but their stall at R. House needs some help. The cone display is dirty, broken, and empty. The ice cream display is beat up messy looking boxes behind a dirty glass case with mismatched or missing labels (also beat up and dirty). No napkins, no cones. The counter behind the cashier is cluttered and messy. The staff were wearing pajamas and you had to get their attention from the back. I love their ice cream but service and presentation has gone way down. Needs a face lift.

Wonderful ice cream, but the service is terrible, and this location lacks the kind of attention to detail that show you that someone cares. The stickers on the glass indicating the flavors are all bent and torn up and they never line up with the ice creams, the payment system is often down, and employees give the air that they're doing you a huge favor taking your order. The place has a run-down feeling. The Charmery in Hampden has none of these issues.

This is my 9 year old daughter's favorite place to eat out in Baltimore. It might be due to the Taharka Bros. delicious ice cream stall, but she also loves Hilo Poke and Sushi next door. The ambience is great for families. I brought my daughter and a friend (who had great cheese pizza from Molina Brick Oven). While they were playing a card game they made a new friend. There's a full bar, a coffee shop, and many types of stalls (Korean, tacos, Cajun). I usually order from whoever is at the pop-up stall, but I was excited to try the vegan Egyptian street food by Koshary Corner. I was not disappointed! The falafel and lentil salad was AMAZING. I had some leftovers the next day and it was still fresh and delicious. I highly recommend. Generous indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking across the street.

Got their Steak & Cheese next to fried chicken place. It was the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had. Greasy , too salty and small. Overpriced too

I never leave bad reviews but this was not my first bad experience with customer service at the rhouse location. The product is good so I wanted to give it another try. However, the customer service has been consistently bad enough that I don’t think I’ll be going back.Tonight I went and got an ice cream cone and then went back a little later to grab a pint for my husband. At this point it was 8:45 and the online hours said they are open until 9pm. The guy working the register said they usually are open until 9 but due to a “long story,” whenever him and this specific coworker work together, they have to close at 8:30 to get out early. I said that just doesn’t even make sense but surely you can grab a pint out of the refrigerator which he agreed to do but then turned away the people behind me. The service is a consistent issue which is a shame because I really do enjoy the ice cream and want to support local businesses.

Zyara was so kind and helpful. I’m grateful for all of her help my partner and I are dairy free and she was so patient with us she allowed us to sample the non dairy options. Can’t wait to come back and see her again !

Went on evening of Aug 29th. Was amazing. Ice cream was delicious - especially the Honey Graham flavour - and the staff were really nice and friendly! Great experience!

Went for an ice-cream cone after viewing the Blue Moon at Druid Lake. My husband and I took turns going in because we had our dog along. At 9:05 they were open. At 9:11 they were closed, and my husband was turned away at the counter. How strange. Very hurtful experience. R-House was bustling, so that is definitely prime time business loss. I'll stick to the location at Jupiter from now on. They know about customer service and how to run a business. I will NEVER be back to the R-House location.

Taharka makes the best ice cream I've ever had. The dairy free options are incredible.

I have been there lots of times and always got good service. But this time was horrible. A black guy with dreadlocks was attending, I went with my 6 old daughter and their friend. They ordered the same ice cream. One of them was little bit as the other and they started to fight dor the big one. I addressed to the guy and told him if he would be able to pretend to increase the ice cream ball. He got me en the eye so angry, he took the ice cream and threw it into the trash. Very aggressive he did a new one.I felt so embarrassed at the beginning, asking myself if I did something wrong, the line was long.. my daughter and her friend looked scared. They shut up immediately. After a while two people addressed to me to talk about what happened, asking please dont feel bad that he was wrong.I just hope he had just a bad day and do not give this bad service anymore

Hands down the best ice cream anywhere around. The key lime and honey graham should be an automatic combo. Love it. Give your tastebuds a treat and try it for yourself. You're welcome...A little pricey, but it's worth the treat every now and then.

I visited this establishment at the r-house location. The individual working there wanted me to order a pint when I only wanted a small, he got mad and told me he needed to close by 9pm, it was 8.50pm and wouldn't help me. Was a very weird interaction.
