As a kid, my family would travel from NC to MD for church services held at 3100 North Ave. Well, Mike’s was right there and the aroma of the food would always draw us over there to place an order. ? I haven’t been to Baltimore since 2018 and haven’t been to Mike’s in almost 23 years but for the past few months I’ve been craving that oh-so-good Mike’s fish sub! ??? I've been been eating in this carryout since I was a kid and been friends with these brothers since I was a teenager and I got the chance to take my son to experience the food and the folks that I grew up with as well!! “Like most "hole-in-the-wall" places, the food here is awesome. They serve breakfast and lunch only, which means they open and close early. If you order your food correctly. You won't be disappointed at all!

They have a small parking lot (maybe 10-12 cars could fit), but people can drive, let alone park. The great thing is there's no dining in, so you're usually in and out. I would recommend calling ahead of time so you don't have to wait too long.

If you're looking for vegan/ vegetarian options, this is probably not it. I believe everything is cooked on the same grill. The only possible vegan item are the grits, which are amazing, but that's only if they don't use butter during the cooking process. You can get egg and chèese, veggie omelet, fries, and possibly another item or two, but understand the incredible possibility of cross-contamination for your vegan/vegetarian desires.

Otherwise, for those who enjoy good food, this is definitely a spot to visit if you're in the area and looking for great breakfast/lunch on the go!

Then I said well let me see about that bacon and egg prepared the same and the picture below is all I could salvage before it was totally all gone in my digestive system 🤣. I'm a 1/2 &1/2 type of woman more tea than lemonade and that holds well after the ice melts so I indulge in that everytime. If you're over East TRY THEM!! Owners are so sweet, they're literally like mom and pop, and the food they serve is truly so close to home. Recommend coming here for a quick bite when you're around the area.“

“Wow! This food was so good. Their $2 fries are phenomenal! My son loves their cheeseburger sub. We finally tried the Shrimp Fried Yak and I was blown away. They put a nice amount of shrimp in there. I should have gotten an extra boiled egg. Too bad they open late.“
