I ordered dinner for my friend group a few days ago, and I'm still thinking about how good the food was! Definitely recommend getting some guacamole and chips - fresh ingredients and authentic. And a good amount of food for the price.

I come here several times a week since I'm in the neighborhood and it's the perfect small family owned Mexican place grounded in serving the community good and affordable food.

It's not on the menu (or at least, I didn't see it), but I highly recommend the chile rellenos if you aren't feeling your more typical gorditas or tacos. Also, knowing a bit of Spanish before coming here will help out but it's not required.

The BEST tacos in Highlandtown, and for sure the BEST value. Where else can I get 4 tacos for ~$12? Not very many places. The staff is very friendly, and the horchata is the best I’ve had anywhere. Same with the nachos!

I called to ask if they could do gluten free and vegan tacos, and was so excited but surprised they said yes, I asked twice to confirm. Went in 20 mins later and they said they couldn’t do vegan tonight. The music was super loud and the man was soft spoken which was not helpful. Are the corn tortillas fried in lard? If no, then veggies in a tortilla could be vegan…
