We recently ordered in from Taste This through DoorDash after craving some delicious soul food, and it did not disappoint. We chose the salmon over rice, which came with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The order arrived within the expected delivery window and was packaged securely, looking as if it came straight from the restaurant’s kitchen.
The serving sizes were generous, and each dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and truly satisfying. We would definitely order from here again—there are so many yummy options to try!

I ordered the turkey wings platter with collard greens and yams. The turkey wing was tender, well seasoned, and fit well with the sides. However for $20 per platter (after taxes), I was expecting the complete wing (flat and drum). I only received the flat. Especially when you consider the menu says 'wings.' As in plural.

I loved the food at Taste!! We had the wings and fried whiting, and I will absolutely be going back. However, I was disappointed at the speed of service. I called and was told that after placing my order, it would be a 45 minute wait. I placed the order and drove about 40 minutes to get there. Once I got there, I ended up having to wait for another hour before my food was ready. The saving quality was that the lady upfront was kind and extremely apologetic. She apologized and tried to help, but unfortunately, it just took too long.

This place really pissed me off. They are unprofessional and Myiesha messed up my order trying to multitask over the phone and got food I didn’t ask for. Also they don’t answer the phone when I tried to resolve the issue and they weren’t even closed. Never again

My first experience was at a grand opening event, and the food was good. My next few orders were from the restaurant and the platters did not disappoint. Seasoned just enough, never overcooked and the proportions were enough for leftovers. My favorites are the macaroni and cheese, fried wings, fried whiting, collard greens, yellow rice, cornbread, deviled eggs and shrimp tacos.

I’ve lost my appetite due to depression and haven’t been able to finish my food. Everything seemed meh but, I dinted to try out this restaurant for the first time. I had ordered the salon dish with the side or Mac and cheese and mash potatoes on DoorDash and was impressed by the presentation. It looked and smelled delicious. It is the best food I tasted in a while. I’m excited to recommend this place to with my partner. The salmon is 🔥🔥 I loved that it was gilled to perfection. It’s soft and buttery and the topped a creamy sauce and bell peppers added on to the flavor 🥰
I ordered on DoorDash and my driver was given the wrong food and she went inside to tell them she was given the wrong order and they said they wasn’t going to remake it

I order two stuffed salmon platters with collards greens and a side of Mac and cheese , when I got the food the greens are very bland not flavorful and the sweet potatoes were hard I feel like they should give all they chefs and or cooks some kind of training because it’s sucks having food good one time and not the next especially for the price you are paying.
