The food is not worth 30 dollars. The atmosphere has declined as far as decor and overall cleanliness. The food is average at best, (who serve fried fish over rice pilaf?) and they had the nerves to charge 6 dollars for a large half and half that’s not made of fresh squeezed lemons or fresh brewed tea. Heavily disappointed in this experience. Never again!

Be Exposed Radio

There is no way a large 1/2 & 1/2 should cost $6.00. This just ruined my whole meal, its the same amount as the sides but in drink form. No lemon, tea or sugar could ever equate. Not the ice, refrigeration, or the cup could make me believe they should charge this much for a beverage. APPALLED!

Wow. Food was spectacular! I’m sitting here uncomfortably full, still thinking about it an hour afterwards. Just fantastic. The yams and the greens, really worth writing home about, as were the ribs, I’d say. But, as anyone eats soul food knows, it’s about all of the food mixed together on rice. 10/10.

My husband and I were both pleased with our meals. I ordered smothered turkey wings (served with yellow rice), macaroni and cheese, and yams. He ordered Taste Seasoned Chicken (also served with yellow rice), macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The portions were large and the food was well seasoned and prepared. Meals were 10 out of 10.

I've ordered from this place 3 times from door dash and today was my first time going into the restaurant myself. Despite the food being pretty good the first few times (to the point where I thought this would be my new spot) each time my food has taken over an hour. It takes even beyond the time that they guaranteed on door dash and when I ordered today.

I am highly disappointed because no one should have to wait over an hour for simple meals.

I feel bad for the poor workers. The AC was out in the store and stuff was just everywhere. I'm not really sure how they are still in business.

Service was trash. The lady taking orders is clearly being overworked and it shows in her attitude. Not one person smiled at me, welcomed me in or said thanks for coming.

FYI this isn't really a sit down restaurant. Like there's a small area to eat with maybe 5 tables but it is blazing hot in there and overall the cleanliness was lacking. Restrooms were also out of order.

Why cut down the uber eats/ door dash hours ? Got off work thinking I’m about to order something for dinner, delivery is now cut off at 4:30pm, well I guess another restaurant is going to start getting my dinner money from now on. This place would get ALOT more business if it was actually ever open. I spend a lot with other restaurants, and would prefer to spend the money at taste this, but they have very limited hours of operation, days of operation, and even more limited delivery hours. Heard your other location closed… if you were actually open for people to spend money with your business, that wouldn’t have to be. Closed for breakfast, closed for dinner, closed for late night, closed on Mondays, closed for delivery after 4:30pm. Hiring employees and staying open would be a lot more profitable, after a while if you are never open your restaurant is just going to be out of sight out of mind for people.

I noticed that I wrote my review under the incorrect location. This place popped up as I was searching for something else. Opened it up and realized my review was missing. The closed location on Harford Rd also popped up- that's where my review was. Posting to the correct location.

I tried to give this place a try again. I haven't been back in a few years because of my first couple of experiences. The girl at the counter was rude. I asked a question about the difference in flavors between the wings as there were two separate orders (wings or exotic wings). I wanted a flavor from the exotic wings without the bed of rice. She told me the party wings weren't available. A chef walked by and said they were. I asked what party wings were (as the menu said exotic wings) and she got an attitude. So I asked my original question: Can I order the flavor of exotic wings without getting the bed of rice. Getting past her horrible attitude, the food took over 45 min to come out. Myself and my mom waited in the store for 1 hr. Maybe even 1hr 15min. The food wasn't great. Won't be going back. The first time I went, they got my order wrong so I had to drive back to get the correct order.

33.00 for a 1 porkchop platter with the standard two sides and an extra 1 porkchop on the side...33.00 NOT ME...I'LL COOK MY OWN SMOTHERED PORKCHOPS...WAAAAY OVERPRICED AND SIDES....most platters come with 2 porkchops. I cancelled the order mid call.
