The pistachio cornbread is to die for as well as the sweet potato strawberry banana, and the blueberry coconut when it’s moist mac & cheese is good sweet potatoes are good stuffed chicken is a hit or miss whether the chicken is dry stuffed and fried catfish is good stuffed salmon good Hennessey salmon is good smothered turkey wings was good but greasy For the most part everything everything is good here we order often. If they explain what’s in the display plate, a little bit better than probably get more orders

I typically don't leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I ordered the "Taste This The Harbor East Potato" from Grubhub, totaling nearly $30 with free delivery. Having dined at this restaurant before, I knew it could be hit or miss. Despite never trying this item, I decided to give it a shot based on the description of "crabmeat, salmon, shrimp, and cheese sautéed in lemon butter and topped with Taste this sauce." However, upon receiving my order, I was dismayed to find it topped with green and red peppers, which I detest and cannot eat. Nowhere in the description was there mention of peppers, let alone a whole layer of them. This discrepancy was misleading and left me feeling like my time and money were wasted. I urge management to provide accurate descriptions of their offerings.

My daughter turned me on to this place. We both had the catfish, one grilled and the other fried. I loved it. The sides were equally satisfying. I do think that for the price, two pieces of fish would be appropriate. With that being said I would visit again.

Ordered stuffed salmon with string beans and Mashed potatoes. String beans are SALTY and the stuffed salmon has a mayonnaise based sauce overtop which they could have kept.

Visited here for brunch with a friend, and I'm so happy that we did. This is a definite must-visit for anyone in Baltimore interested in soul food. We got there a little early, but decided to take a walk around the block waiting for the kitchen to open.The service was homey and welcoming. Note sure who was behind the register but she was very warm and invited us in, walking us through the menu. We got the Chicken and Waffles and the Baked Chicken. For the amount of food we got, the price was really good, almost a steal. The food took quite a while to come out, but this was likely because we got there while the kitchen was still warming up. Keep this in mind if you're in a hurry!I'll definitely be back to try more. The chicken was super crispy and the mac and cheese was just divine. I sincerely hope we visit again to try more.
