Amazing food and amazing service. It’s currently soft opening but it’s as if it has been open for years. Was in Baltimore two days and went twice in a row. The bulgogi melt (which I ate before I could get a pic and Katsu curry were phenomenal!!!! For a grand finale, the EARL GREY CREME BRÛLÉE WAS MAGNIFICENT!! such an innovative and exquisite dish.
Sydney is also the coolest and kindest server who knows the menu front and back and is so welcoming. Coming back here again next time I’m

Was not blown away at all. Food took too long and when served was on the cooler side. Waiter was very nice and answered any questions we had. The steak was not a good cut of meat and my husband’s medium rare was way over cooked.

We stumbled upon The Buttonwood while touring the Peabody Library and were delightfully surprised at the unique decor and the globally inspired meal that was far from ordinary lunch fare, but still reasonably priced.

This was a charming, intimate dining experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and I loved the simple decor with a historic flare. As for the food, it was flavorful and fresh, and I appreciate that they had dietary substitutes.

Listen, vibe is great. The bar tender Sydney was awesome and attentive. The folks they have in the kitchen are disorganized and worse the food is garbage.

We went to the buttonwood on a random Sunday after leaving the walters art museum and left with more questions than answers. The space itself was beautifully decorated as long as you look past the drop ceiling and water damage. Now when it comes to food i was left flabbergasted. The Taiwanese chicken bites were quite good as were the beignets but when it comes to the main courses those were close to inedible. The katsu curry was somewhat bland and incredibly dry while the vietnamese spare ribs were incredibly bland and incredibly dry.
The only saving grace to this place was the waitress who was very nice and made great drinks.

Fantastic bistro with incredible vibes. Such a beautiful space. Our server was wonderful, very nice and informative. We got the butter flute, Katsu Chicken, and Breaded Paneer sandwich. The food was so tasty, we will definitely be coming back as soon as we can.

Not beating the McDonald's fries accusations. They are 100% McDonalds fries. Im not even mad about it they just are. Their Asian themed dishes are a million times better than their American dishes. Which is to be expected. The DRINKS were AMAZING. One and done!! They were tasty and STRONG.
Overall loved it.

Definitely a gem of a Bistro/restaurant. A small choice menu but where everything is delicious and perfectly cooked. The salt and pepper chicken and the Vietnamese braised spare ribs were especially excellent, and the vegan option of Roasted Cauliflower With Caramelized Onion & Cardamom Rice was very well received also. Certainly don't miss out on the signature drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive and the dining experience was one of the best I've had in a long time.
