Came here for the first time during CIAA weekend. The event was a 2000's Brunch/DayParty.... the food was buffet style and yummy. The vibe was dope from beginning to end. Just going down memory lane with the dj and music was everything for me. The location inside and out was a vibe by itself. I'll definitely go back.??

I went for a private R& B party & the service was amazing! It was jammed packed but Ray my bartender was attentive & fast. I've been a few times before & the food service was really slow however just go for drinks & vibes & you'll be fine. Look for Ray.

The security here knows what they're doing is wrong but chooses to continue to make a quick buck. I came in with two other girls, admittedly one was under 21. Her ID was confiscated by a bouncer (fair) no issues with that he's just doing his job, but we were approached by a secondary bouncer asking if we had cash app. When I asked for what he said we could pay him to get her ID back. I said I don't have cash app but I had physical cash on me and went to hand it to him while in the front of the establishment. He suspiciously looked around for a camera and then said not here. He urged us to follow him outside to the edge of the business and then complete our transaction. He moved off premise because he knew his actions were wrong. After giving him the money we started to leave but then he allowed all 3 of us in knowing that the one girl was underage. In the moment I didn't think about how strange this was but looking back this feels really wrong and I wanted to let management know so that he can be perhaps held responsible. As someone who is genuinely of age I will not be coming back to the Charles based on this predatory experience. Not a safe place for young women!

We live in Miami and during our recent visit to Baltimore for the Ravens game, I discovered an exceptional establishment on Instagram. Upon experiencing it in person, I am pleased to share that we were met with outstanding service from friendly staff, including the managers and owners. Our bartender, in particular, was exceptional, making our visit truly enjoyable. I highly recommend considering a return visit to this establishment in the future.

The Charles under new management is a game changer! Atmosphere and vibes are incredible. Not only is it the best game day experience, but the weekends are underrated. Great DJs, awesome light set up, & staff rocks. They low key have the best brunch in Fed now, don’t sleep on it. The Charles is back!

The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. However, the food is not much to be desired.
Got a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and the table got bottomless mimosas. Potatoes were soggy but well seasoned. Sandwich was a little overpriced for $16. Turns out it was drag brunch so we stayed for that. Music was too loud even without the drag show. Channels for sports were dull. You can only replay the same college sports highlights so many times.

I came here for brunch and ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. While the food was tasty, it was over priced. My partner got a steak meal for breakfast, and his steak was very overcooked. The brunch menu is also not extensive. What made the experience better was the bottomless mimosas and sangria's. I highly recommend getting the mixed sangria. They fill your glass up and it's very delicious. The venue is nice and so is the service.If I came here again, I would eat before coming for the bottomless mimosas and sangria's.

Try their happy hour 4-7 during the week..1/2 off wings on Wed. It's always empty in here during the day, but it's a decent time with a friend. Anna was a pleasant bartender for sure. The crab egg rolls can be dry so I don't recommend them, but the shrimp and Brussels are good.
