Best crab cake in Baltimore! Atlas has done an amazing job transforming the dining landscape of the city and this location improves on what Fells Point has to offer.

Choptank was a very nice place to dine. We were there for brunch & enjoyed the drinks and food. The service was friendly and attentive. However, it took forever to get our check and pay and actually had to chase-down a staff member who was a manager, to get our bill. Nice place for a good meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We were staying downtown. Our Uber ride was only 15 mins to Fells Point. The Choptank was recommended to us by a local friend. We were not disappointed. Live music playing. The musician was super talented. I had half a dozen oysters, 3 each of 2 varieties. They were perfect. Well plated and all the accoutrements. Very nice. I followed that with a bowl of crab soup. My wife enjoyed her Caesar salad with huge shrimp. Service was timely. The beer selection had all we needed. My wife enjoyed her drink from the bar. The bar was loud. more a reflection of the customer than the restaurant.

We dined here on a Sunday night following a Ravens game. On entry, the space is large, but grossly underutilized/relatively vacant. Our waitress was phenomenal and on top of service, but the food was mediocre at best. It was also grossly overpriced for the quality of the food. Most disturbingly, while dining a fight broke out amongst patrons at the bar. This was certainly beyond control of the restaurant and they did comp our meal (after we asked) because we no longer felt safe being on the premises with our children. I had to call 911-I am not clear if the restaurant did as well, but the instigator of the altercation was not escorted from the building by restaurant staff, continued to act inappropriately, using profanity and storming around amongst tables. Again, the restaurant did their best to make a bad situation better—kudos to our waitress and the manager—but we won't return if this is the clientele that frequents the establishment and in combination with the costs/quality concerns.

Tyler was the best. He handled out of 10 fantastically. He was very personable and entertaining. We will be back.

Tyler and staff took excellent care of us at the Choptank. We had a medical issue tonight and they were so caring, professional, and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Made a reservation online had to walk from one end of the restaurant to the other to enter. And then back to the other end to confirm the reservation and once again to the other end to go into the dining area where the hostess said she didn't have the reservation for us, even though I just confirmed it at the other end of the restaurant and had a email confirmation in hand. Then, a gentleman took over the hostess stand and seated us on the hard wooden benches. We ordered the crab chowder, which was very good. Then we had the single crabcake which my partner enjoyed, but I thought was just average. The french fries that accompanied the dish were obviously previously frozen, and not hand cut... Disappointing. For dessert, we had the Keylime pie, which was not homemade and tasted so so. The noise level from the piped in music was also distracting. Had been to Choptank in the past for lunch and ate outdoors, which was a wonderful experience. This one, not so much so

We tried several menu items, and everything was great. We got Maryland crab+cream of crab soup, which was excellent. We also got the tartare, calamari, and a dozen raw oysters. It was all delicious! I also loved the house margarita ❤️

Our waiter was fantastic and the overall experience was pleasant. But the food was awful and overpriced.

I had family visiting from out of town and I took them to Choptank for a good experience. We ended up sitting at the bar and Kaila made the night so special. Not only was she sweet and welcoming, she was so accommodating and really made the time there well spent. I told her they were visiting and she went above and beyond to make sure it was the best experience. All around 10/10

This was my second visit to choptank in Fells point and it did not disappoint. We started with lemon drop cocktails crafted by my favorite bartender Ryan for appetizers we tried the honey ole bay wings and jumbo meatball with garlic bread-both amazing. We were so full, that we ended up taking our main courses to go, but I enjoyed the crabcake mac & cheese and salad for dinner at home. They were fantastic. Can’t wait to come back Ryan you made me a fan.

Wonderful crab cakes and outdoor patio. Also have great local beers on draft and wonderful service. Highly recommended if in fells point.

Note you can split the crab cake meal and get your own sides which are huge.

We had such a wonderful evening. Our servers Ali, Amy and Myana were so fun and gave us such a good experience and we absolutely loved the fresh steamed prawns and mix platter. Great choice.
