Great. Only hiccup was the bartender apparently getting swamped and it taking 10 extra minutes for the second round to come out. Otherwise, exceptional.
The food was delicious, ambience was warm and relaxing, Andrew was a great bartender. Overall good time!
Came to Copper shark for a special date night while looking for someplace new. Found a delightful experience all around. We started our meal with a great cocktail. For dinner, I had the crispy rockfish which was yummy. We finished the experience with fantastic bread pudding and a slice of Tres Leche cake. Oh my... what a way to finish the meal. Throughout the evening, our server was attentive and friendly. Only disappointment - the lighting was a bit bright, making the room's atmosphere cooler and less intimate than the menu and evening promised.
The food was very good, beautifully presented. Nice ambiance. Excellent waitress, Samantha who was appropriately attentive but not intrusive. Warmly greeted upon arrival. A very enjoyable evening.
Had a great first Brunch experience! I've always loved Copper Shark HH and dinners, but I planned a brunch for 6 friends to celebrate a friends upcoming baby and everything was perfect! They let me in a few minutes before opening to decorate the table on the patio and the hostess was so nice in assisting me. The food and vibes were both great and we had a wonderful time!
We were a party of 6 and every one of us enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. All of the portions were on the larger side and all items were crafted in a creative way that took them beyond the usual selections you see on a menu. Our server, Paige, was friendly and helpful. We dined earlier in the evening, but even as the tables filled up around us, we were still able to converse with each other without having to raise our voices. It was a great meal and a good time!
Birthday brunch was delicious. Sat outdoors on a beautiful day. Brought us a complimentary dessert to celebrate and did not rush us to leave. Very nice experience
Had brunch...first visit...chicken and waffles are the BEST in the city!! Patio dining was phenomenal!! Will be going back, again and again.
It was a good restaurant, I liked the atmosphere and they time the food really well. However, I got a medium rare bone in ribeye that was $70 and it was thin and overcooked. The flavor was still ok but not $70 worth in my opinion. My husband and father got the crab cakes and those were really good.
Great food menu with nice variety of seasonal offerings. Outstandoing drink menu. Service by Christian was top notch the entire evening. Three of us got the 8oz filet mignon but asked for three different degrees of doneness. All three were done to exact requested level. Fourth person got the crabcake which been rated disappointing in other reviews. Glad they did because they were very pleased as well.

Fantastic birthday dinner and drinks from start to finish, and service was impeccable. Special shoutout to manager Bryan who was terrific and took great care of us.
We were very impressed! The restaurant was gorgeous! Our serving staff were exceptional! The appetizers, entrees, drinks, snd desserts were really good!
First of all our server, Julie was fantastic. She was pleasant and seemed to anticipate our questions before we even asked them. On to the food. We ordered the whipped ricotta to share and it was delicious. Three of our party ordered the blackberry salad. It was definitely a generous portion, in fact we could have just ordered one and split it. The arugula was extremely peppery! So much so that it overwhelmed the other flavors. I have eaten arugula many, many times and it has never had that strong of a flavor. For entrees, my husband and daughter ordered steaks. She ordered hers medium rare and it was definitely overcooked. I had the rockfish which was tasty but it came with a pile of fennel with some hot peppers basically like a slaw. I am not a fan of spicy and I could not eat it. Again, I've had fennel before and it is usually used as a garnish atop the protein or in a salad not just a bunch of it as a side. There was no mention of hot peppers in the description on the menu either. It totally missed the mark. Desserts were delicious! Overall it was good but room for improvement on some things or at least a more accurate description on the menu.
Honestly, the food was just mediocre for the price, and I probably wouldn't rush to return. Our service, and especially our server Christian, was terrific and super attentive. When I saw jumbo lump crabcakes on the menu, I was super excited and highly considered ordering. However, when two people at my table ordered, I opted for the 14-oz. The New York strip steak was delicious, cooked to the correct temperature, and presented nicely with fingerling potatoes, asparagus, and a cup of CS steak sauce. As for the crabcakes, you should be ashamed of yourselves. This is Maryland, and anytime I see jumbo lump, I'm usually all in. The crab was backfin meat at best, and compared to what I see for crabcakes in other Baltimore-area and Maryland restaurants that are top-rated for crabcakes, yours didn't come close, both in size and lump meat. It just wasn't there. Our friend, whom we brought for his birthday dinner, was also very disappointed. He had been to the restaurant six times and was eager for us to experience it with him. However, the menu completely changed since he was last there, and the soup, fish, and chips he had raved about were no longer on the menu, and he, too, was disappointed. Lastly, the bread. I have no problem paying for a basket of delicious bread, and though the bread was good, it wasn't $5 good.
The food at Copper Shark was excellent. I had the chicken and it was moist and tasty. My friend has the wild boar ragu and it was as good as what we had in Italy. However, we did have to wait an extraordinarily long time for our food. Our entre dining experience was 3 and half hours so plan accordingly. This was a Saturday but we did go early around 5. I still would give it a try.
