The salmon and grits were amazing! Ivan the owner is a world class chef and owner! It is a must when in Baltimore!
Food was amazing, & nice, friendly service. Crab cakes, mashed potatoes and asparagus were all seasoned well and cooked with love. Pasta looked delicious and full of flavor. I will be back, the hard part is not ordering the same thing but I need to explore the menu. You can’t go wrong here, you won’t regret it.
Good service great food and even more room for growth. Be patient as there is not a full service staff but the service given is great! Ordered the wings and truffle fries to start. Wings were ok the fries great. There were some oddly built chickens and loads of crunch that wasn't connected to any meat. The shrimp and grits were good and was told the special was good as well shrimp & salmon pasta. Definitely would go back or order for delivery. Seating is limited and the bar has wine primarily by the glass but mention bottle options on the menu.
This place is a hidden gem! The food, atmosphere, service...everything could not have been better. Ivan is especially attentive to every detail. We will definitely stop here every time we're in Baltimore!
I went to this spot while visiting Baltimore earlier this year and I can’t wait to go back!!! The food is phenomenal, service is great, and the atmosphere is so chill. Loved the music, and the house sangria was bomb too! Highly recommend
This little place has an amazing menu! Service was fantastic. We were treated exceptionally well. The food was amazing. It’s not the same old same old! It was different and delicious. Ivan and his staff were wonderful.
We stopped by here Sunday after an O's game. I found this place four years ago while in town attending some Oriole games. It's a couple blocks from Camden Yards so within walking distance. It's the same place I remembered, except they no longer serve beer, just wine or cocktails. I ordered a Chesapeake Sandwhich and my Honey ordered the Mac and Cheese Burger. They both are served with fries. My Honey devoured her Mac and Cheese Burger. My Chesapeake Sandwhich was a grilled Marinated Chicken breast topped with crab dip and grilled tomatoes on a toasted brioche bun. The chicken was spicier than I expected but delicious. The Crab dip topping was interesting and added greatly to the sandwich flavor. This is a cozy, romantic Bistro that was not very busy. If you are attending an O's game and are staying nearby you need to stop by here at least once. The food selection and meals are amazing. We will be back for sure.
Chill date night with the Wife and we ended up at Corner Bistro.....Best decision of the day in my opinion. Hidden gem downtown near stadium. We got there early around 530 before the rush and had the place to ourselves. We were greeted by the Owner who sat us and made us feel welcome. Wanted to order the whole menu but started off with Bistro wings naked, and crab cake sliders. Wings were something special, cooked perfectly and the breading was light and crunchy and the seasoning was perfect. Crab cake sliders were very good as well. My wife had the Burger and fries and I had shrimp and grits for entree and both were very good as well. The wine selection was nice, I had a glass of the Cabernet and my wife had the Sangria which she said was so good. Was able to have good conversation and learn about the owner and the restaurant. Will definitely be back
From the moment we walked in Ivan made us feel welcome. He went over the menu and gave us great descriptions and selection choices. Food was amazing. Had the wings dry, crab cake sliders, shrimp and grits, and burger. The sangria was delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back
Easily some of the best food I've ever eaten. The food is masterfully balanced with textures (ex. crispiest fried chicken) and rich flavors that pop with spices. At first the extraordinary culinary skill seems mismatched to the low-key setting, but for those who like quiet places it's a win-win. Get reservations in advance - there isn't much seating. It was a real privilege to eat there.

My goodness! Have you ever ate food and want to give the owners and cook a hug? Well, The corner bistro and win bar is the spot where I wanted to do just that. To give you a quick understanding of what the food is like, my girl and I took one bite and looked at the cook and said “did you make this”?? He said yes and I responded “I love you man! Lol.We ordered the blackened salmon and grits, and Mac and cheese angus burger. One bite and It sends you to another dimension. The food touched my soul and left this dimension. I don’t know what kind of sauce he put on the grits and salmon, but amazing. Probably hands down best food I have eaten.Ivan, great service, great food, great price. Can’t wait to come back.
Just phenomenal. We’re visiting and it was between The Corner Wine Bar and another place. Hands down, so glad we chose The Corner. Bc….this food….was life changing!!!! After walking in to their quaint oasis, we were promptly greeted by Ivan, who gave us the run down on the menu with his recommendations. But honestly, you could have thrown a dart at the menu, chosen that entree, and you couldn’t have gone wrong. Again, phenomenal. For comparisons sake, I had dinner at a “high-class”, 5 star restaurant earlier this week. Just awful. I mean from the service to the food.If you have the opportunity to try The Corner Wine Bar, you won’t be disappointed.
We were lucky to get in an hour before closing and I’m so happy we did! The owner was so kind and the food came out in a timely manner. The Chicken and Waffles were the bomb!! Some of the best I’ve ever had. Same for the pasta. The raspberry iced tea was delicious as well. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!!
My family and I came here 3 times out of our 4 days in Baltimore and we absolutely loved it. The owner was very polite and professional throughout our dining experience. When my dad lost his glasses here, he was very friendly towards him. The food here is so amazing. Their wings are to die for and their crab cake dinner was so delicious. I will always recommend this place forever! Thank you so much.
Perfection on a plate. This small and friendly restaurant serves great dishes and great wine. The owner is both polite and extremely professional. After 5pm this is a "must visit" restaurant
