Valentines' Day four course prix fix. No ordering off the regular menu. No substitutions. First course was not gluten free. There was no substitute. Server stated that "I would get extra salad "(only the gluten free appetizer was salad). The salad that I was served was actually smaller than the Non-Gluten-free salad served to my wife. Four course Pri Fix was actually three course minus for those unfortunate enough to need gluten free accommodations.
Everything about our Valentine's Day dinner was great. The service was fantastic. The food was amazing. The owner came by the table to see how our evening was. We really appreciated that too. This was by far the best restaurant experience I've had in quite some time.
We had an awesome experience! The food was esquisite and the service was excellent. With the sun still up and the view overlooking the lake/quarry Citron gave us the ambiance that set the mood for our Valentine's Day celebration. 5+ stars for Citron. -Sean H.
A wonderful evening: outstanding food and service in a beautiful atmosphere. A lovely addition was Charles helping us pick a wine.
This place never, ever disappoints. !!! We drive from D.C. because we love the food, ambiance and offerrings. We were easily accommodated due to traffic and a later arrival than our original reservation. For the first time, we actually sat in the room with a fireplace and that was soo appropriate and memorable for this years' Valentines Day Dinner(albeit early) !! It truly set the mood; we got our usual Mussels and the Deliciously fulfilling Goyang Sushi rolls. We really could have ordered a second round of both but ordered our Entree which were the Scallops over Parmesan Risotto, with asparagus and a tomato beurre blanc sauce. Everything was just sooo Satisiyingly Delicous and beautifully prepared and presented !!!! I'm already planning another visit.
Love the ambiance and the attentive staff, it was the a perfectly intimate experience for my husband's 50th birthday dinner.
The food was fabulous, the service and attention given to my guests and me, perfect. The Lamb Shank I had was wonderfully moist and fork tender! There were several parties that evening. One party was particularly loud. I'm sure a good time was had by all but we had difficulty hearing each other at times. I would recommend dining here especially when the weather warms up to take advantage of dining Al Fresco by beautiful Quarry Lake.
This is the second Thanksgiving we have spent at Citron. The food and service are excellent. My only comment is that I got the turkey and was surprised to get the giblet and liver, it's not something I would expect on such a pricey meal. Luckily, I happen to like those parts, had my dining companion gotten them, it would have been a problem. Having said that, everything was really delicious. I overstuffed myself because I couldn't stop eating the apple cake.
Wow, Everything was incredible. Food was top notch, cooked perfectly, with high quality ingredients. Drinks were perfect, and the atmosphere was exceptional. 5 stars all around. Can't wait to go back.
Went to Citron for date night and had the New York strip steak and Crab cake, both were delicious! The ambiance was amazing, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was great, attentive without being overbearing. It is a little on the pricey side, but honestly worth it for the quality and overall experience. A really nice night out — I'd definitely go back!

Two guest. We were greeted by a hostess, who was very pleasant; she walked us through the restaurant and bar, to experience the noise level between the restaurant and bar. The restaurant had very low levels of noise and the bar was slightly louder; however in both locations, you can have an intimate conversation without yelling. We ordered an appetizer (asparagus and cauliflower), entrees (salmon and mushrooms ravioli) and dessert (crème Brûlée and vanilla cheesecake). The app came to the table presented well and warm. The taste was tangy and acidic. A little salt and extra parm makes it better. The salmon was presented well and warm; it was adequately seared (Ask for beurre blanc sauce). The string beans were plain and unseasoned, but the rice pilaf was seasoned well. The ravioli was overcooked and presented very poorly. The broccolini was also over cooked and unseasoned. Both desserts were average (nothing exciting), but tasty. We did not have any cocktail's. Nickki, our server was excellent; polite and inviting and on point. We never needed anything! If you love great service and want to have dinner in a stunning atmosphere, then Citron is the place. The food is good and has the potential to be great.
Good experience, would've been better had the resurface the birthday guest dessert. 1st time a restaurant didn't offer it.
Went on a Wednesday at 6 pm. Sat in bar area which was not very crowded except for 6 ladies at the bar who sometimes could be alittle loud. Also owner was meeting with a future event client. Music in the background. Food was top notch as usual. Waiter could have been more attentive. Restaurant is always high end looking. Overall it was a good experience for a casual weekday night.
It is a bit pricey but worth! Food was very high quality, and all the staff were very polite and kind. We brought 2 kids (13YO and 9YO) for casual weekend dinner, and kids loved the food, too.
Outstanding dinner. Every course was delicious. Our server, John, did a great job. Worth the money for a very special evening.
