Do anyone know if they are still open for business, the phone is disconnected and nothing has Ben posted on there social media! They are still open on google and door dash so I’m confused !! We need to start doing better as black businesses!

Contrary to google saying this business location is open, there is a sign posted on the door by that states this business location is CLOSED indefinitely for failure to renew license. I went there today 7/27/2024, 8:10pm.

I found this place on IG and it seemed to be a good spot. The only thing that was good was the food and that missed the mark on a few things. Definitely looked eatable and It was piping hot when I got it. I did wait a half hour to get my food. Also, I was the only person in the restaurant. So, I’m sure it was made to order. I ordered shrimp and grits. After waiting 20 min for my food to cool off and blowing it I still scald my tongue. The grits had a nice flavor although it was runny. I couldn’t recognize the diced up food in the sauce so I can only assume it was a purple onion and bell pepper. What ever it was it had the texture of a mushroom but didn’t appear to be. The shrimp was seasoned nicely but a little tuff. I did eat all of my food which is good for me. It took a minute for the server to notice I was done, and again not sure how when I was the only one in the place. After she noticed I was done, and confirmed I was done she didn’t bring the bill. When I notice she wasn’t coming back I asked for the bill. I never saw the bill and she told me it was $39. After paying and leaving I was pissed for paying almost $40 for shrimp & grits. The meal came with 4 shrimp and I got a drink. Everything was served on disposable dishes including the cups and silverware. ??. So, after thinking on it I went back to get the receipt because I knew I didn’t see those prices. I tip the server $4 not knowing gratuity was already include in my bill. Facts $4 is nothing but I just spent $39 dollar on I don’t know what.
Soo, for me I’m noticing a trend in service being piss poor. Or people just don’t know what it is to be of service to someone patronizing their establishment especially, when gratuity is included. Businesses tend to think because they threw a “How is everything?” out there they did their part. Service is everything attitude, mood, ambience, and presentation. My people especially we got to do better.

This is the cutest location. Parking is scarce but if you drive around you’ll be sure to find something. The service was mediocre and the place was empty. We called ahead several times to check in crabs and were told they were coming in the last call. To my surprise when I got there they didn’t have one crab based item. Might try again but service wasn’t that great. It is super cute inside so I’m on the fence about going again. The drinks were a bit pricey but they were pretty strong.

Was drawn to this place by an IG and was disappointed. Hopefully the commentary helps to improve and not serve as complete criticism. First of all hats off to the person who was hostess, bartender, server, bathroom attendant, and answered phones. There was one person who did it ALL. We were told what they were out of before ordering. my husband ordered from something not on that “out of” list and oops we were out of that. The meals did not come out together. My fries were cold and the crab cake lukewarm when my food did arrive. Husbands food did come out hot after mine. When we asked for the check we were given a verbal total and not given a check. I shouldn’t have to ask to see what I am being billed. The atmosphere is not reslly appealing and the bathroom was not clean. There is potential because the food was not horrible so hopefully they can fix things to provide a better experience.

I called and made a reservation Easter day but when me and my family got there the owner had no knowledge of our reservation, the place was completely empty but the owner introduced herself and advised that she would stay for us, we saw an Instagram post displaying steamed blue crabs medium and large for $60 per dozen. I ordered 2 dozen and my family and I decided to take them to go. I opened one of the bags and noticed a few crabs were very small, she explained that the crabs were measured and reassured me that the crabs were the correct size, and the small ones she threw in for free. Not the case she sold us majority small and regular size crabs. I don't plan on returning.

First time visiting, got the info from Instagram. Took My mom for her bday and she had a good time. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant was clean! We got there a little after opening so there was no crowd which meant no wait time. Even down to the music choices that were played were on point, would definitely return.The only complaint I have is the cream of crab soup was extra greasy. It literally sat on top of my soup. I drained it as to not upset my stomach. The taste was good outside of that one thing.
