Beyond disappointed with my experience at The Crown on Saturday the 27th. What an absolute nightmare! It took over 30 minutes just to ATTEMPT to get a drink. There was no clear area to line up, creating a chaotic mess. We joined a line and waited for over half an hour, only for the bartender with the black hair and winged eyeliner and gothic aesthetic to finally take our order... then completely ignore us to make drinks for others before vanishing... when we did see her again she had her stuff in her hand and LEFT FOR THE NIGHT! Without telling anyone else to make our order!!! AFTER WAITING ALL THAT TIME! We were so fed up with the atrocious service that we left the bar area without even getting a drink. Unbelievable! We wasted a total of over 45 minutes standing around the bar, accomplishing nothing because of their incompetence. It's absolutely ridiculous that we couldn't get a simple DRINK AT A BAR. Never coming back here unfortunately as the music was great but I can't go somewhere where there's a charge to attend when the bar isn't even functioning properly.....

“The Crown, a bar in Baltimore's Station North, to close in August By Tony Roberts of Baltimore Sun Newspaper July 26, 2024 at 8:07 AM ET The Crown, a Station North bar and live entertainment venue, will cease operations after an 11-year run. “Due to circumstances beyond our control, the business has made the difficult decision to close after 11 years of service in the Station North Arts District,” said the Crown on Instagram. Shows and business will continue through the weekend of Aug. 11, and the Crown will host some farewell events and specials throughout the remaining time. There will be a “Farewell to The Crown” send-off party on Aug.10 and Aug. 11, according to the Instagram post. The Crown, which opened in June of 2013, will have its normal hours for food, beverage and private karaoke until Aug. 12. The business will provide updates about where shows after Aug.12 are relocating to.”

The venue is dirty. The racist bar tender discriminates against you and steals your money by secretly up charging you The mics don’t work for karaoke. Horrible place, don’t bother spending your money here.

Overpriced hole in the wall mediocre karaoke bar. The bartender is discord mod server weird and gives preferential treatment to white women. The food is edible, the time between ordering and food delivery is tolerable, but the treatment and atmosphere is indigestible. I should have stayed home. Don’t waste your time and I hope this place goes out of business soon.

Good vibes, fun crowd, and great karaoke night. Owner: If possible, please orient a karaoke screen so that you can read the lyrics while still facing the crowd

Nicely laid out venue upstairs that allows for a variety of setups. The bartenders are cool and keep up with the crowd well. I've tried some of the food items from the restaurant downstairs (can be brought into upstairs venue) and always enjoy it.

So I regular here every Tuesday for karaoke with some friends. Food is great. Very welcoming.. no judgement atmosphere. Service is pretty quick with getting your food to you. I usually get the wings and fries. All the wing flavors are good. Beware of the spicy Mayo lol very spicy! I love
