My mom and I went here spur of the moment and OMG was this the BEST food and BEST service we have gotten. Our waitress, Olga, was beyond amazing. Explained everything with passion and great detail. The food was unbelievable! Everything tasted like it was just as fresh as possible. My mom mentioned at least 7 times that she could not wait to bring my dad here haha thank you!

The cucumber salad did not have garlic, chili or scallions. It was cucumbers with sesame and oil. The beef skewers were only marinated in soy. If you have ingredients on the menu, they should be on my plate. The cocktails were good and the fish and chips were good although under seasoned.

Wish I could give this a 3.5. The food is good, but nothing blew my socks off. Short rib was technically tender but dry and not very flavorful. If the sauce is to make up for that somehow, it didn’t. I don’t love paying $25 for fish and chips only to have the fish come soggy as if fried at too low a temperature. Drinks are overly complicated, after reading four ingredients I have to google I tend to get bored. Very much tired of the contradiction that is a small plates to share concept. I was with five people and if everyone wanted to try all of our small plates we would have had to order two of everything. Am I at dim sum? I could spend the same amount at La Cuchara and get “small plates” portions that actually feed the table. Without being worried about flavor. Loved our server!!!

Dined here for brunch with a group. The service was excellent, from the time the doors opened at 11am until we left, we were treated with abundant kindness. We ordered five-ish small plates for the table to share and we each ordered an entrée. Highly recommend the tuna poké, cucumber salad, and tomato salad. Although, every bite we had was delicious.

We stopped here for a Sunday evening meal on our way home to New York City and were blown away. The quality of the food was phenomenal: fresh, inventive, and delicious. The service was attentive and ambiance was lovely. We will definitely return to The Duchess!
Tried The Duchess tonight and had a great meal! The space is beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere. Drinks were unique and delicious. We ordered several chesas (small plates) and every single one was flavorful and so so good. A stand out for me was the ahi tuna, and my partner loved farmers tempura. The service was spectacular as well. We are so excited to have this spot in the neighborhood and wish this restaurant all the success! Can’t wait to come back.

Island flavors done right in Baltimore! The drinks took me straight back to my childhood in Hawaii, and the Ube flan and the shave ice was a standout. The spareribs were super flavorful, and while I didn’t get pics of the poke or spare ribs, they were just as amazing. Great service, great vibes—I’ll definitely be back. 🤙🏾
