We had a delicious late lunch at Empanada Lady! Our server Tub, was informative and a great mimosa pourer! Food was reasonable, delicious, and authentic. Walking out full and happy!

I disliked the empanadas, I thought they were overcooked and hard on the outside. Unauthentic.

Went to the Empanada Lady ‘cause I was craving empanadas (and my friend’s family was going too) and OMG I’m so glad I did 😍 The empanadas were so authentic—you can literally taste the love in them. Service was amazing, drinks were on point, and now I’m already plotting my next trip back 😂✨

I never had empanadas until I came to this establishment, and let me tell you that I’ve been missing out my whole life. Not to mention, the staff and the interior of the restaurant made it a great place to eat. Great music and my favorite is the ground turkey empanadas. I’ll make sure to visit every time I’m back in Baltimore

Staff were really rude when sending food back, didn’t offer to clean the table due to the feel of ick on it. Drinks were ok at best. I won’t be returning or recommending!

Staff was nice while I set at the bar, food was mid! 20.00 lunch special for one empanada, side, and a random dessert. My coworker was so mad she picked this place for our lunch break.

The aroma of a slight mildew like smell should have been my first instinct to leave. The games at the door was a nice gesture but very unsanitary! The tables were clean but definitely felt unclean. The food…. The empanadas were the least appealing to consume, the fillings were little and defeated the purpose of the size. The bean stew was the best thing on the menu.
The offered cupcake with the lunch option were disgusting, I can only compare it to smell of old mop water in taste.
Update to the owners response: the lack luster black owned businesses in Baltimore never ceases to amaze me. If you were a real business owner you would have paid attention to my friend gagging after eating the shrimp empanada while sitting in your restaurant! Quick to say my review is fake, but yet I have receipts! Maybe do better cooking the food and less time trying to clap back at your non-returning customers. And thank you for the compliment because I definitely put my degrees to use!

Everything here from the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere is EVERYTHING. Honestly one of the most welcoming restaurants I’ve been to in a while!

Didn’t try the food but stopped in for drinks this past Sunday evening. Nice ambiance and all that. I’m pretty sure the owner was sitting a few chairs from me… that’s nice. The bartender was the nicest most personable server I had in a while. I would come back weekly if the drinks were 50% less.
