This is a fantastic bakery. The cupcakes are phenomenal!Every time I go there, I like to try something new. The last time I was there, I ate the tiramisu. It was incredible! I check out bakeries all the time. I can say that all bakeries are not the same. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed when you stop by this bakery!

Ordered a six inch 'triple chocolate' cake, which proved to be every bit as decadent as promised. Truly delicious. The folks at the shop were super friendly and helpful, which you might say was icing on the cake (pun acknowledged). We shall return! Highly recommend.

Move over Ace of Cakes, there's a new Baker in town. Batch Shop has Hands down the Best Cake around! It doesn't stop there, the cookies (lime coconut is my favorite) are rich and decadent as are the cupcakes and scones. Easy parking and Zeke's coffee top it off. Weekend pop up shops featuring cottage vendors is an added bonus. And the Sunday happy hour is the greatest secret in the neighborhood.

Ok, so this three is mainly based on my latest order from there which was back around Thanksgiving. Ordered an apple crumb pie and rolls. Their bread is amazing. The pie was too expensive for what it was, which was mostly crumb topping. It was insanely messy and pretty dry since it was double crumb, hiding the apple. I get that it looked impressive but execution was meh.I've been back a few times for bagels and treats and everything is solid.I want to mention, too, if you're there later in the day the display case is kinda lackluster. In bakeries you're often overwhelmed by scents and visuals of gorgeous treats, but at Batch it's often just the countertop that is full of breads and the cases kinda skimpy. And I wish I knew when there were going to be lunch options like soups or sandwiches before heading in. Batch is still a great option for ordering beautiful cakes, cookies, etc. Be aware, though. I asked for a quote/info on ordering a dozen custom, fairly intricate cookies over one month out, and they said they couldn't fit it into their schedule. Some more clarification involving custom orders (not cakes) on their website would prove helpful.

My mom's assisted living is a few blocks away and we kept meaning to try Batch Bake Shop. We love Emma's Tea Spot, which is a block away and Emma told us that Batch bakes their scones so we knew we had to try Batch. We ordered a buche de Noel and 2 dozen Parker rolls for Christmas and they were brilliant! The buche de Noel was moist and absolutely gorgeous. Since we weren't eating it that night, they packed up the beautiful decorations delicately so we could put them on. The Parker rolls were delicious and we used them for leftover sandwiches for the rest of the week. They also, very kindly, had coffee for free the morning of Christmas Eve and it was great coffee. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their coffee and macarons!

The bagals are my favorite. And the jalapeno corn pudding....and the macaroons...and the cream puffs. And their iced coffee is amazing and doesn't even need sweeter. I think its zeeks. And they have a happy hour on Sundays!

Best bakery in Baltimore. Their bread is excellent, and they have the best pastry I've had outside of France. The rosemary Manchego black pepper scone is phenomenal if you like savory food, and the Boston cream donut is the best I've ever eaten. On top of all that, the staff is super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Love it.
