I recently visited this lounge, and it was my second or third time there. When I arrived, the bar was full, so I was directed to sit at the back since there was no space at the bar. I took a seat and waited around 10 minutes without any staff approaching me to take an order or offer a menu. The atmosphere was quiet—no music playing—so I asked a passing staff member if there would be any music that day, and he assured me a DJ was coming.
After waiting longer without any attention, I asked someone passing by if he worked there. He didn’t, but he kindly offered to find someone who could help. He asked a staff member nearby, who seemed unsure about the situation. After a total of 15 minutes waiting with no menu or service, I decided to leave, feeling disappointed by the lack of attention to customer service.
It’s unfortunate, as I was looking forward to a good experience here, but the service left me feeling overlooked and unappreciated.

I recently went there on October 4th with my brother that just arrived from Nigeria 🇳🇬. We ordered food and wasn't told that the FISH was sold out. They brought us BEEF which we don't eat. Then once l noticed how dark the meat was l said to them please take back and refund me my money. Ha that's when the problem started. Then they said ha he has fried WHITING FISH 🐟 I told them NO we don't want. Then the cook wants to explain which he should've been done when he knew he didn't have what we ordered. THEY WOULD NOT REFUND ANY MONEY BACK. I ONLY RECEIVE JOLLOF RICE, VEGETABLES AND PLANTAINS. SPENT $76 to be TREATED BY OUR OWN PPLS. DO NOT GO HERE VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

I really like this place the only thing that I can say negatively is that the young lady at the front door needs a lesson on customer service. I really thought about turning around and going back home because of her attitude. The first person you see and the person asking for money to enter should not be acting like that. It was only $10 but idc if it was 5 cent. People don’t wanna come pay their hard earned money and be treated that way. The only reason I didn’t leave is because I was visiting from Atlanta and this was the spot decided on before our 6AM flight. I’m glad I didn’t though, because the DJ was on fire and the bartenders were amazing. I was drawn to this place because it was described as international and we wanted to hear Afrobeats and the DJ delivered. The only food we had was the suya. Not the worst I’ve had but definitely not how African restaurants make it.

The owner sucks so bad went there for the FIRST time ever yesterday and literally kept touching me to come down and telling me I can’t request a song? And based me off my skin color b/c I’m Hispanic saying I will sue him if I fall? That isn’t true at all and very disrespectful and disgusting don’t go there if you wanna be judged and the owner to put his hands on you thinking it’s okay our bartender was amazing though

That food was so MFN good omg. It’s like an hour away but I would absolutely go back !! Got jollof rice (100/10), goat meat, spicy, and it came with spinach and plantain. WOW i cannot believe that food was so good. Great DJ and everything else, but the food was so good. Best African food I’ve had in a long time. Cant wait to visit again!

What I will give is food is good. I came in for my bday. I’m from Baltimore and my friend from Ohio came in to visit. Brought us here and NEVER AGAIN will I introduce an out of towner to this spot. We got in 9p which I ordered my food/drink at the time, along with my friends. It was only 4 of us. Place was practical empty when we arrived. Food didn’t arrive until 11. Now yes, we could’ve left but didn’t want to drag my friend from place to place just traveling from Ohio so we sucked it up and stayed. Literally no accommodations for our food coming 2 hours and cold and mine being incorrect. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this spot for a GOOD night out. Just an FYI, I learned that they are known for swapping their liquor in the bottles ??♀️ Not sure how true that part is but do your research before attending ? What I will say is the bartender Keta was very accommodating and sweet ?
