Absolutely wonderful experience! The music was great and the food was everything. He/She (the chef) definitely should come from the back to introduce themselves. I was pleasantly surprised by all the vegan/vegetarian options that they offered. They even had a kids menu. The crowd understood the assignment because they came dressed to impress which I loved. They even had a happy hour menu for the weekend which shocked me as well and everything was reasonably priced for the quality of food that you received.

Vegetarian options: Mushroom Risotto and Vegan Steak.

I went for the comedy show on Thursday and I found out they had an entire vegan menu, needless to say, I doubled back on Friday Evening, the bar service was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, the smokehouse burger was huge and the fries were soo good. It was a costume party going on so last nite was festive at best…and the place is beautiful…can’t wait for the Vegan brunch menu to arrive!

Well we did the Saturday am Drag Show Brunch. The place is cute, the ambiance is nice. The girls were really good and Kudos to the Owner. The brunch meal is ok, the powdered eggs are blah but the $25 bkfst price for bacon, burnt biscuits, pancakes and no juice cause they ran out is kinda steep. The bad part though no fault to the Manor is the server for our table manipulated our receipt and once the amount reconciled with the bank its an extra $20. Please check your receipts every time you swipe your card ANYWHERE!

My partner and I hardly ever write google reviews for restaurants and bars unless we have something extremely positive to share or that we feel customers need to think twice before spending their hard earned money!!

Whenever we are in Baltimore we made a point to eat dinner at The Manor, regardless of the high prices and average dishes they had a staff team that just made us feel right at home. A host or matre d named David knew just how we liked everything, was so much to chat with in between dishes and paid that bit of special attention to each customer. He was teamed up with a bartender Fayrn who made first class cocktails that were the best on the east Coast. Betweens those two staff members they made you feel like celebrities dining at the Brown Derby in 1930s Hollywood.

I am sad to report that magic is gone. The current staff actually makes you feel like your presence is bothering them. We do not want to get anyone fired so we will leave it at whoever all three staffers bartender, server, and manager were texting with on their phones were of more importantace than our dinner out.

Don't waste your money or time. The Manor has lost its glamor!

I bought my best friend here for her birthday. We were greeted by the Manager . The food was amazing. The bartender was sweet. I got the meatball appetizer with crab dip. It was amazing. The DJ switched the music for us. It was elevator music playing at first. Good vibes

“My two friends and I visited The Manor Ultra Lounge from out of town, excited for karaoke night. We arrived a little after 9 pm, only to be greeted by a staff member (who I assumed was the manager, though his attire made it hard to tell). He informed us that karaoke was canceled for the night, and there was no advertisement for it that week. We showed him the Manor’s website and flyer, which still advertised karaoke. He asked how long ago we had checked, implying it must have been outdated, and even made a snarky comment of, ‘You couldn’t have pulled that up today.’ After refreshing the page in front of him, the ad was still visible. He spent a minute on his phone, then asked us to refresh again—clearly trying to manipulate the situation—but even though the date was removed, the flyer was still active and the webpage still stated karaoke every Thursday.

He offered to let us do karaoke during the comedy set, but we declined, as it didn’t seem appropriate for the comedians. He then said we could wait until after the comedians finished around 11 pm. Given the late hour and the “classy” recommendation from others, we decided to stay and ordered food.
We also asked if the employee would honor the advertised drink specials for karaoke, but he said he couldn’t. The food came out quickly, and it was delicious—the butternut squash soup was superb. The drinks were well crafted. Even though the comedians heckled us a bit, we still managed to enjoy ourselves while waiting for karaoke.

The comedy show ended earlier than expected at 10:30, so I asked the same staff member if karaoke was still happening, and he confirmed it was. However, after giving him about 10 minutes, we noticed the staff had already broken down the stage and reset it for dining. My friend asked if we could just use a mic to sing along, and he said yes, pulling out the mic, even tapping it as if to check if it worked, and then walked away with it. We waited an additional 15 minutes, only to realize he had no intention of honoring the karaoke night or his promises.

We paid our tab and left, feeling completely misled and disappointed. What was supposed to be a fun night of drinks and karaoke turned into a lackluster dinner for three. For an establishment rated 4.5 stars, I expected much more. Ironically, the funniest part of the night was a comedian’s joke outside before the show—it was actually a recommendation to stay, eat, and enjoy the place because The Manor is so classy that anyone would love it. By not knowing and honoring their own current advertising, failing to follow through on verbal communication, and blasting Sexy Red, they truly showed how ‘classy’ they really are. In my opinion, the only truly classy things about this establishment were the drinks, chandeliers, and hardwood floors.”

I’ve been twice and each time I’ve enjoyed the service. Each staff member greeted me was polite, was prompt and courteous. The food is delicious and a great ambiance overall. I can’t wait to go again!

The Manor is one of Baltimore's hidden gems. It is housed inside of a historic Victorian grand mansion. I love how they have a full vegan menu and ginger beer on tap. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. You can go just for dinner or attend an event. The staff is friendly. You can can dressed in jeans or a fancy dress. I enjoyed the food very much. It is the only place that I know where you can get a Vegan Steak that is actually like a real steak. I added a photo of it to my review. I like that they have vegan food and food for omnivores, so that every can find something that they like on the menu. It makes it much easier to have a night out with a mixed crowd of eaters.
