Cannot read an ID apparently. Had their general manager “double check” the ID while he was sitting and drinking at the bar. He looked and sounded intoxicated. Terrible food and terrible service. We planned a night in Baltimore and this place ruined our night. Screw these guys. 1 star forever.

A cute tavern with great service . The shrimp po boy was highly recommended along with the tavern burger . Neither one disappointed. The place is clean with plenty of television to catch a game or two . They have an upstairs as well .I would come back !

Visited the restaurant on a Tuesday for happy hour and went to the upstairs Bar. ordered food and Miguel the bartender was very nice and made us some nice cocktails. ordered Blackened rockfish which was horrible and cold in the middle. the cook said he will make another but ended bringing out the same fish which was soggy and nasty.

Service was terrible. We had to ask for our server....after that we were punished the rest of our stay. The server would walk by and completely ignore us. We had to go to the bar to ask for mustard, water, drinks.... what a bummer. It came highly recommended. Just not our experience. The food was okay nothing exceptional.

We were driving through and read some reviews and decided to try this place out. It have a small parking lot in the back and there is street parking (paid parking but after 7 it's free) around the corner. Staff was super friendly and the food was really good. We took out two kids and it was real quaint. Oysters were amazing.Kid-friendliness: There are no kids menus but they do have kids friendly dishes.

First time here. Celebrating my early 53rd. Our server Jim was great! The recommendations for their oyster selection & lunch options were tasty. Very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be on my list of places to revisit. Thanks!

Something has changed and not for the better since I lady visited a few years ago, so much whereas I will not be recommending to friends again. The service was not on point, he didn't know without asking what the specifics of what drinks were happy hour, didn't do good job communicating daily food specials, was delayed In telling us oops we don't what you ordered.. The food was not as good as I remember. My crabcake was something to remember to share for all to get somewhere else.I recommend sticking to the bar for better quality service.

Cute spot in mt washington. It's a go to date spot for me since they have good drinks and an upstairs and downstairs bar and seating areas to choose from. My favorite spot is upstairs by the windows since it feels like you're kind've outside even in the winter. Can't wait to go in summer when they have it opened up. The food is great too. Only suggestion is that they make the brunch menu a bit more breakfast- y.

I wouldn't expect anyone to have high expectations for the food in a place like the Mount Washington Tavern, but it's not unreasonable to have some expectations, like expecting the food to be cooked properly. We ordered the Korean short rib and when it arrived, I was pretty sure I was looking at Korean brown bread. It was not short rib as I have enjoyed elsewhere in the past, it was sliced as though from a small loaf of brown bread, it was chewy and tough, and it was dry, quite dry. Of course, it may have been dry because we waited 40 minutes for it to arrive after we had ordered, and it may have simply become desiccated. The server offered no apology for the delay and seemed relieved to simply be able to deliver us food before we might have been forced to ask where the heck it was. It's never a good idea to have overly high expectations for any restaurant, but in the case of the Mount Washington Tavern, I suggest you keep your expectations low.

Stephanie was our server and made our 29th wedding anniversary so memorable. Chris, one of the bartenders, made the most perfect vodka martini. I would highly recommend My. Washington Tavern to anyone.

Stopped in with a group after work. We were at the bar and it was tough to get a drink and the staff were not super friendly. The food was good but the drinks were a bit pricey even for happy hour. Overall it was ok.
