One of my favorite spots in Baltimore! The food is consistently very good, service is great, and the atmosphere in a historic speakeasy can't be beat.
Had some lovely cocktails. We weren't hungry, but the pizza smelled terrific.

March 7th... Went to the Owl Bar for the first time and was disappointed. The bartender Jackie waited on me right away but it took over 20 minutes to get my drink. When I finally got it, she never apologized and acted like it was my problem and just walked away. I wanted to get food also but I just had my drink and decided to go somewhere else.
Neighborhood gem.Exciting atmosphere.Great drinks and food.Bartender Jacque made our night!Can't wait to return next time we attend a Meyerhoff concert.

I been going to the Owl bar since 1981 and the service was horrible last night. They need to fire the manager on duty last night. From the time we walked in til the time we left he was nasty. If they don’t fire him I will never go
Horrible experience. Manager added $30 charge to bill for eating outside cupcakes and refused to remove from bill. Last time I will ever patronize this establishment.

Not what Owl Bar used to be. Brick oven pizza tastes like bowling alley toaster oven pizza. Drinks are small.They charged us $30 because my wife's mother brought cupcakes for my wife's birthday. The menu doesn't include dessert but yet they insisted on charging us a cake cutting fee for doing nothing.When we complained the manager couldn't have been more rude and refused to remove it from the bill. This is after we had 16 people gather for drinks and light food.Clueless management, terrible food, terrible drinks, tiny beer menu...skip this place.Btw, I've been coming here for 25 years and won't be back.

Don't ever go to this dump. The service is abysmal. The management is rude and the food is sub par. We came for a friend's birthday and they could not have made it more miserable. I would not recommend coming here if you want to have a good time.

I want to love the Owl Bar but, alas, no. On our recent visit, the bartender seated us and told us the waitress would be with us shortly. We then waited at least 20 minutes without anyone coming up to us to give us so much as a glass of water. The waitress passed us at least 4-5 times and each time studiously avoided making eye contact with us. Also, dining room was uncomfortably hot. This might have been because of the open-air pizza oven, which could have been an asset if they were serving oven-fresh pizzas. However, we saw other customer's pizzas cooling on the counter next to the oven at least 10 minutes before being delivered 20 feet to their tables. We finally got up and left. At best, they are extremely understaffed. Two stars because the bartender who seated us was nice and at least the stain glass owls above the bar were pretty to look at during our interminable wait.
