One of the best Catering in Maryland.

We used Pantry Catering for our wedding in June 2024 and were so happy with our experience. The staff were incredibly helpful through the tasting and selection process and accommodating for us to be able to bring in particular food and alcohol that was meaningful for our family's background. The lead-up to the wedding was smooth and the day went without a hitch; particular thanks to Gian for managing the day. The food itself was a highlight of our wedding and we got so many compliments from our guests about the food, which was both in the vein of expected wedding fare (chicken, steak, salmon, and vegetarian options), but also interesting and unique and fitting to our tastes and goals. Pantry was by far the best food we tried of all the options, was the easiest to work with and incredibly helpful during the entire process, and were amazing during our wedding day. Would highly recommend.

I can wholeheartedly recommend The Pantry for light hors d'oeuvres, desserts and drinks. We had this catering service provided by The Pantry after our morning wedding ceremony. We were locked out of the venue for 30 minutes and everything got started much later than expected. Kristy and her team jumped into action and really helped us out! They had cold drinks ready to go as the first guests arrived, and they even helped the venue set-up chairs on short notice. They went above and beyond their responsibilities for the day. I was very stressed that morning with the venue delay, but the moment I spoke with Kristy, I knew everything was going to be fine. She is a true professional and really understands how to prioritize needs and delegate items to her staff during a moment of minor crisis. The small bites we ordered were great, and the drinks were also excellent and refreshing on a hot day!(cross-posted to Wedding Wire)

Thank you so much to Daniel, Kristy, and the catering staff from the Pantry, for making our daughter's Bat Mitzvah reception a success! The menu was thoughtfully and creatively assembled from our daughter's input. The finished products were delicious, from the short rib, to the house-smoked, kippered salmon, to first tender chicken we have ever tasted at an event! The mini-desserts were perfect and the bar offered just the right balance of beverages. We would name all the food on the menu, because it was all fantastic, but, that would give away the surprise to anyone reading. The service was warm, polite, and attentive, and the staff even went out of their way to help a few VERY late attendees fill their plates, even though the buffet was broken down. The Pantry genuinely cares about the food and service they provide. Daniel, the Chef/Owner, keeps his business small in order to focus on providing the best food and service. He was even on-site the day of.We hired them, turned them loose to work their magic, and we are so glad we did! If you care about food and want to work with people who do, we would can't say enough good things about the Pantry.Thank you again!Lee and Christine Gedansky

I am writing on behalf of the World Trade Center Institute in Baltimore. The World Trade Center Institute has worked with the Pantry Catering on multiple occasions to bring quality food and service to our prestigious events. From hungry college students to world travelling CEOS, the Pantry caters to all ages and tastes. Chef Daniel and the team at the Pantry work diligently to create unique and delicious menus that never fail to delight our guests. We come back to the Pantry for their fresh ingredients, culinary craftsmanship, and their prompt, courteous service. We will continue to partner with the Pantry for our future events and we look forward to working with them again!

I discovered The Pantry Catering about 2 years ago as I was researching new catering companies to work with at my job. I'm an Events Manager in Baltimore and was looking to step our game up at events and The Pantry caught my eye as soon as I landed on their site. I set up a tasting along with a few other caterers, and none of the others even came CLOSE to Pantry. From the second I met the team and listened to Chef Daniel present and describe each dish, I knew instantly this is what I had been searching for. Our partnership started that day and they have been my go-to for not just our work events, but my personal events too, ever since. The # 1 thing that sets Pantry apart from the others for me, is the thought and passion that goes into each and every menu. Other companies seem to work from a sort of "rolodex" of dishes, a multiple page packet that they send you and ask you to choose 3 or 4. The experience at Pantry is the complete opposite. Chef Daniel wants to know what your vision is, the feeling and experience you're trying to achieve. He listens to what you are envisioning and then takes time to curate a one of a kind menu, just for your event, just for you. Each time I inquire about a new event, I can hardly contain my excitement until they send over the menu proposal. And the way Chef Daniel chooses each dish, the story behind it, the origin of the ingredients, the WHY behind the dish, is just incredible. Chef Daniel and his team are also a complete joy to work with. Each team member I've worked with has been friendly, helpful, and happy to be there. It is obvious to me that Chef Daniel with his immense experience and background, has created a healthy, functional and supportive atmosphere for his employees. I could go on for days, but I'll end with this. The Pantry Catering is by far my favorite catering company I've ever worked with, and one of the most valued partnerships we have at our company, and they have also become my friends that I trust and admire.

I began working at the Pantry in May of this year, and came in with only fast-food and bar-food experience. Chef Daniel's passion for making the best food possible and ensuring that everyone who works in the kitchen is invested in that vision as well. He takes a very intellectual, science-based approach to cooking and will often take the time to talk with employees about why certain steps of a recipe work.As a result, everyone in the kitchen has at least some understanding of why they are going through what might otherwise seem like an unnecessarily lengthy process. For example, instead of simply throwing some chicken on the grill with some spices and butter on it, Chef Daniel will lead us in creating a marinade from scratch to let the chicken soak in overnight, explaining to us how the lemon juice in the marinade helps break down the outside of the chicken enough for it to fully absorb the rest of the flavor. Then we will grill the chicken briefly so that the outside of the chicken has optimal flavor and slow-bake the chicken so the inside has optimal flavor and moistness.Working at the Pantry has been very rewarding for me and I take great pride in the food we make, whether its for our catered events or deliveries and drop offs, as all of our food benefits from the incredible attention to detail and skill of Chef Daniel.

We had a Groundbreaking Event recently and worked with The Pantry Catering. Since this was our first time arranging such a large party of over 100 people with many politicians and important people we needed help and found it with The Pantry Catering. They not only arranged for our tent, chairs and easels but did so in a timely manner and without any problems. They went over and above what we expected on the food and drinks we ordered and everything was performed in a pleasant and courteous manner. We highly recommend them.

The Pantry catered our wedding at The Cloisters Castle and not only was the food good, the staff were really exceptional, they ran everything very smoothly and were very attentive to us and all our guests. While my partner and I were off halfway into the woods taking photos a server hunted us down to bring out some snacks and drinks for us. We also had some aerialists performing at the wedding and someone on the catering staff took the time to pack up and set aside boxes of food for them so they could eat after the performance. Wonderful job, highly recommended.
