Pig & Rooster is a neighborhood bar with a very cool and chill atmosphere, offering a great time. The space is cute and spacious, though it gets crowded in the early evening. The vibe is impeccable, with several arcade games to play. It is the perfect place to meet up with friends, watch sports, or enjoy music trivia on Thursdays.
The food is consistently good. The Detroit style pizza is phenomenal, delicious, and satisfying, with crispy edges and perfect dough. Pies like the Tavern Pizza and the Controversy pizza are popular choices. Other menu items are also recommended, including the Caesar salad with its yummy honey mustard flavor and the mozzarella sticks with an epic cheese pull.
The beer selection is varied and drinks are poured strong, with reasonable prices. The staff is awesome, attentive, and nice. While the energetic atmosphere can make conversation difficult, it is normal for a bar. Overall, Pig & Rooster is a highly recommended staple, worth a visit or even a detour.
