We usually do pho atleast 1-2 times a month, and this is our go to. Usually get the vegetable pho with extra broth. Super delicious.

We came here because it was close to the hospital. Short version of the review: the pho was overpriced, over seasoned, forced 18% gratuities with no service (with a party more than 4), and I would NOT recommend Red Boat. Pho Menu: The pho selection was very disappointing as it was 1 meat per pho bowl and no pho with a combination of meats. The guy at the register offered a combo off the menu but wanted $20 - NO thanks! Their Pho choices were expensive with one bowl-size offering. Forced Gratuity: We ordered 5 bowls of pho all beef rounds. AFTER swiping the credit card, then he said there was a minimum gratuity of 18%! He pointed at a sign that was easily missed in the front register. Unfortunately I was at his mercy, if we didn't pay the forced gratuity then they could reduce the food quantity OR do something to the food. When we walked into the restaurant, he gestured for us to come to the side register but there was NO 18% gratuity sign. TRICKY!!! He said he'll bring us the pho. So they determine gratuity before service is performed which was non-existent. Service: Service was like Chic Fil A style for dine-in. You order at the register and they bring the food to you. NOT worthy of 18%. ALL THEY DID WAS BRING THE FOOD TO US. At least Chic Fil A walks around and asks for refills and how's everything. Taste: Pho was the most disappointing pho we ever ate and possibly the most expensive. The size was equal to small bowl when compared to other pho restaurants. The bowls were inconsistent like they couldn't afford the bowls (see pic). The garnish was very little, small pieces of protein, maybe 5 thin slices of beef round. The broth was heavily seasoned like a ramen noodle but with pho flavor. The broth had very little taste of bone broth. You only would get the rich taste of bone when simmering the broth with beef bone for long hours which they didn't have. My party of Viets all agree this pho place was terrible. Definitely would not come here again for the pho especially when they force us to pay gratuity for NON-EXISTENT SERVICE. Not coming back for pho.

Banh mi and summer rolls were delicious. Food came quickly and was nice wrapped to go.

There was nothing enjoyable about the experience. He tried to charge me 3.45 for a bottle of water, there was cheese on my salad and we saw a mouse run through the main area on our way out.

My friend randomly selected this place, and it honestly was a good find. I ordered the rice vermicelli noodles with grill shrimp, and it was delicious! Those fresh veggies and the basil on top are perfect. Also got a small Chai tea, which was very tasty. Tip- go ahead and get the large Chai tea, it was so good, before I left, I went back for a large! When you wall in the aesthetic wasn't that attractive tbh, so I was feeling skeptical, but like I said the food was good, and service was kind.. Parking is city parking fyi,but there are parking garages nearby.

Best phi chi soup so good

I've come here twice now and everything I've ordered has been delicious! The fried chicken shrimp spring rolls are some of the best around as are their wings, great little spot to hit before watching a show at the Hippodrome.

Blandest pho I have ever had. If you get takeout you receive all the ingredients separately so the flavors don't have a chance to blend and the meat is unseasoned. The only ingredients in their standard pho are meat, rice noodles, and cilantro and onions with a bag of optional garnishes that includes sprouts, jalapeno,a small lime wedge and mint. One bag included a packet of hosin sauce and a packet of siracha and the other garnish bag had no sauces at all. We also got the shrimp rolls and it was just shrimp, cabbage, and cilantro. I have had much better for way cheaper.

The banh mi is top notch here. I've shopped around at different offerings. But so far they have the better of the bunch. Still looking for that one that's the best for me. Pho broth can be borderline salty, which can mask the richness of a good flavored broth. Pick up food if you're around. One a the few spots in the city to get vietnamese food

The food is perfect and the variety they have on the menu is great. This is the perfect spot to eat right before you see a show in the Hippodrome. Service, food and area, what else do you need.

I found a dried bug in my takeout sandwich and I didn’t know until I had already left. I’ve been here before and had no complaints, but just be mindful.
