Nice little store front restaurant where you order at the counter, then find a seat. When your order is ready, your receipt number flashes on the counter and you pick up your order at the counter. The Pho comes with a spoon, and you can get chop sticks or plastic cutlery on the counter behind the soda dispenser. I had the Pho with chicken, and my sister had the Pho with shrimp. She was surprised the shrimp still had the tales on them, but they were large shrimp. We split an order...
This was our first time at the Red Boat and we will definitely be back. After traveling to Vietnam a few years ago and tasting many pho’s, we liked the pho’s here. It was tasty and filling. We were, however, a little disappointed with the shrimp spring rolls. Next time, we will try the kimchi fries, and we also hope there will be more customers. We were the only ones for an early dinner.
Cute place. I had the duck wonton and the boat with lemongrass pork, noodles, pickled dikon and carrots and cheese. So light and good. The sauce for the wontons was nice flavor and a hint of heat. Asian food is not normally my choice but I found a meal I could definitely eat often! They have a pool table in the back too.
