Heard so many great things about this place so my Wife, Mother In Law and I decided to give it a try and support our local black owned business. On Saturday 4/13/24 we ordered a jumbo lumb crab cake platter, a Chicken platter and I had the whiting fish platter. My fish was fried nice but had no seasoning, the collard greens had way too much black pepper. My daughter and Mother in Law loved the chicken. My wife said the crabcake was just passable and the potato salad was trash. I ordered everything online but the menu is not detailed and everything thats sold is not even on the online menu. Like the jerk wings and the catfish, which was disappointing. When I came in the restaurant I was greeted nicely and immediately rung up for my order which was good. While waiting on the food I noticed that the place is not clean, the was dust, dirt and what looked like blackmold around the molding in the food prep area. Unfortunately we seen enough to never return, because we feel like we just gambled away $80.

I took Ma with me on a Sunday. Ma had catfish and a waffle and I had chicken and a waffle with collard greens. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The service was good also. I'll be back.

I came here for my birthday based off a friend who came before for the turkey wings! OMG! You will not be disappointed. I had the turkey wings, greens, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, potato salad, honey cornbread (OMG) and cabbage.
