My wife and I walked in without a reservation. Just looking for a happy hour place to get drinks and snacks. They sat us at the chef’s counter. It was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly. Watching the chefs make the food, they kept everything clean and organized and they looked very professional. The food was delicious, we got the shrimp crostini, beet carpaccio and the fried chicken Thursday special which is a must order in my opinion. Cocktails were yummy. And price was reasonable. Will def go back and take my wife here for another date!

Superb! Me and my boyfriend showed up with no reservation and luckily got a table. Everyone that entered thereafter had reservations and I could see why. The food, drinks, and service was amazing!

Made a reservation on Resy and took an Uber over to the restaurant. Upon arrival I was told there wasn’t a table available for me. I asked (just to confirm that this was actually happening): “just to make sure, you have my reservation but you do not have a table available for me tonight?” Answer was yes. Could not believe it. This is the third or fourth time I’ve visited here and the other times were great. Definitely not this time.

The food was mediocre, at best. My spouse's food was cold and poorly cooked. Mine was overcooked and overly salty (and I don't mind salt on food at all). The service was alright. We were there to celebrate a special occasion, and this just made everything less special. I feel like two stars is generous.

Absolutely terrible and horridly disappointing experience. All the meats were massively overcooked (ordered rare, got well), but sides and sauces were weirdly cold. The "Beet Carpaccio" was an arugula salad with a couple thin slices of beet. Service was alright when our server actually checked in on us. Atmosphere was cramped and cold; everything looked and felt cheap.

Food was flat-out delicious. Those who ordered cocktails were impressed. Service was prompt and very helpful. The space is quite pleasant but a little loud for conversation. Not cheap, but well worth the price. Definitely recommended.Dietary restrictions: Staff were very helpful in ensuring that dishes were free of problem ingredients and helped find options when necessary.

Some friends and I came here for restaurant week. I chose the Roasted pepper soup with crab meat, the Rockfish and the brown butter toffee cake. I ate every morsel and enjoyed my meal immensely. I even liked what I tried of my friends’ meals— that grilled octopus! And the steak!! Delicious! And the ambience is really nice. I could see myself sitting solo at the bar for a meal. The only weird thing was that the bartender sucked his thumb before touching the lime wedge on the drink my friend ordered. Not a big deal, but a little icky. All in all, I would be back!

In full disclosure: I wrote another (lower-rated) review some time ago on another platform and so I'm so, so glad that my most recent experience was so much better. My husband and I had eaten here twice before on our own and were pretty disappointed in both our experiences – our food had been cold/lacked seasoning, and our service wasn't the greatest. As such, we hadn't been back for several months.Clearly, something has changed for the better. We finally went back to the Tilted Row because two friends of ours wanted to go (and we live local to the restaurant so we *do* want to see it succeed), and, this time, we had such a fantastic experience! Our server was wonderful, our drinks were delicious – even their wine offering seemed way better than I remembered from last time, but maybe I just hadn't taken advantage of it then? I ordered the tilapia, which was delicious and the sides were so delightfully unique. My husband ordered the ribs and was happy with his plate. Also, funny enough, we ordered vanilla ice cream for dessert simply because we knew our friends wanted dessert... and the ice cream was DELICIOUS. (I would never typically order plain vanilla ice cream as a dessert, so who would've thought?!).The Tilted Row has definitely earned its way back on our list of restaurants we plan to return to/recommend to others, and I'm so, so glad about it. Whatever you're all doing now, keep it up, please!

Very enjoyable meal with nice ambience, all tables filled up soon after we arrived so glad we were at the bar with a bit more space.

The Tilted Row has become one of my favorite go to spots in Baltimore when I just want good food and a relaxing time. I always enjoy coming here as the staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel right at home. I especially enjoy coming here for an early lunch or dinner. Their menu is pretty consistent but they do change / add items to the menu during certain seasons. I usually don't start with an appetizer when we go so I was excited to try the SHE crab soup when we went for NYE. This had to be one of the most delicious soups I've ever had. It was packed with great flavor and the crab meat was very fresh. We also had the pork belly which was a little cold but overall also tasty. The entree is what took me by storm ! The duck was wow! I could have eaten it all day. The rice it was paired with was phenomenal and I loved the cranberry drizzle as well. I would highly recommend. I have also had the ribs which were finger licking good lol. The meat falls right off the bone. Now coming to my happy ending as I refer to dessert as never disappoints. The toffee cake with honey graham ice cream in A+++ or the apple crisp are my top favs. They also have a nice selection of spirits. They offer fun dining experiences which I would recommend try as well. I would go here for a first date, for shared apps and a cocktail or solo!
