Ordered a steak & cheese empanada, onion rings and strawberry lemonade. Huge portion of onion rings, lemonade comes in soup container, empanada was full of steak, only compliant is I wish it was seasoned better, maybe hade onion and peppers as well, but overall very good

Very disappointed in the quality of the food and ingredients and I agree with some of the other reviews here that there is not much flavor and it felt undercooked. I would avoid this place.

I had a cheese steak and onion rings which were terrible. I would give one star but probably my choices were not their focus and had something to do with the outcome. Service was fine.

The beef and chicken empanada fillings are flavorful. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. The beef could be better, but it was still good, and I would order it again. They were perfectly fried, crispy, and not grease. The mango lemonade was fresh and delicious.

This place was my first stop after we dumped our luggage at the hotel. The empanadas were very filling and flavorful. I was surprised at how heavy my to-go box was. Big pieces of shrimp and real crab in the seafood one and plenty of tender steak and gooey cheese in the other. Really fantastic service from the guys working! They even gave us recommendations of other places to visit in Charm City. I would stop here again if I visit Baltimore a second time.

I recommend the Chopped Cheese and Empanadas. However, the Chopped Cheese should be under $10 not over, maybe it's depends on the neighborhood.

Overall 3.5I ordered a shrimp and crab cheese, empanada, steak and cheese, empanada, and the chicken empanada with a pear lemonade. The shrimp and crab cheese empanada ($9.50) was slightly fishy and very heavy. Not my favorite at all. The steak and cheese empanada ($6.00) was actually really good. I was glad I ordered a variety of items to try. This had a nice taste to it and paired well with the empanada batter. The chicken empanada ($5.75) was good as well. And I say this, considering I ate a cold the next day I'm sure it would have been even better warmed. The drink ($6.00) was a gallon of sugar with food coloring. I have no idea how this was even legal to drink, but it was super sweet and no way one person should be able to consume that much liquid. The lady who took my order (Yamileth) was super nice and gave me a heads up on some of the items that were the most popular to try. If I'm back, I'll give it another shot and maybe try some other items that were sold out .

Anyone who claims these this place has anything worthwhile is lieing.AvoidA severe lack of seasoning for every item. The dough is chewy and gummy. Fried poorly and tastes like cheap oil. The service is so awful and unsavory that it maycjes the food. This place is a ripOff and an insult to everyone.Trash. This would be better as an empty stall. They should be embarrassed.

Great Dominican style burger. Staff was kind and fast cooking the food, which came out piping hot. Paired with onion rings, it was just perfect.

I decided to try Tio G'a Chimi & Empanadas while at R house this weekend. After much deliberation, I settled on the beef empanada after asking the owner which was his favorite. The beef was very flavorful, but the empanada "shell" was different from other empanadas I've had. It was a bit thin and hallow which I'm just not used to I guess, but it wasn't bad. The service was good and R house always brings a good vibe...so no complaints there.

Amazing each time I have gone. Empanadas are fried perfectly, lemonades are great, and the service is always stellar. Had to stop myself from eating here every day. Since I first tried them, I have been hooked!
