I came in today to get a smoothie and a drink and the girl with the twist high ponytail was so rude to me. I was not greeted at the register she did not speak to me, I didn’t even know if she was ready to take my order smh. Yall need to brush up on yall customer service skills because the girl that I encountered today has none. She was slamming around blenders, whispering while taking my order. I was given the impression that she did not want to be at work today. Please do better.

I really didn’t wanna make this review cause they’re black owned and were both Morgan state alum but y’all gotta change something around. I know the people are young and getting the business skills while attending school it hard I get that but on today February 29 2024 it wasn’t busy (until they made it busy)they had me waiting to be served while they chat with the cook then wanna take my order when I was ready walk out . I don’t know if you guys have a method of one person make the drink then one put it on the blender if so they be playing around to much then the person that putting the drink on the blender has wonder off somewhere now the orders is back up and the store is crowned . Then the employees is getting there product first then the customer that been waiting for the drink . I hope it better I’ll still be supporting

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at your Havenwood location on the evening of 2/25/24. As a loyal customer who frequents your cafe for the delicious Açaí bowls and smoothies, I was dismayed by the lack of service and inconsistency I encountered during my visit.Upon entering the cafe, I intended to order an Açaí bowl, only to be informed by one associate that food was not being prepared due to short staffing. However, to my dismay, I observed another associate preparing Açaí bowls and flatbreads shortly after. This inconsistency in communication and service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.Furthermore, despite ordering three smoothies and a coke, I did not receive my soda. This oversight was the final straw in what was already a subpar experience.I believe it is unacceptable for a well-established establishment like Tropical Smoothie Cafe to provide such inconsistent and unsatisfactory service to its customers. I hope that this feedback will prompt you to address these issues and ensure that future customers do not have to endure similar experiences.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you and hope for improvements in the future.

I've tried this location on more than one occasion and it's a NO. The dining area is always filthy, smoothies taste like water, place smells like spoiled fruit and the staff is rude. They definitely need to be retrained especially in customer service because it's nothing but kids that work there.

When hiring employees ask them if they are people person I've been here on lots of occasions and I see Mean Girls no smiles no Good Morning or thank you except one little young lady light brown skinned and short was making efficient good smoothies. She was a little newer and she had manners. The sandwiches need quality control. They come out soggy sometimes and one day they messed up a simple breakfast sandwich. No customer ever said I like to have drama with my sandwich please. REMEMBER TO SAVE THE DRAMA FOR YOUR HOME NOT YOUR JOB

This is by far the worst tropical smoothie location in the state of Maryland.It’s RUN by teenagers , as in , no adults present. No manager on duty. Everyone is about 17 years old that works there. I get it , it’s a smoothie joint , low key, but it’s also OVERRUN by teenagers. You can’t come in here between 3-5 pm because every school kid comes in to visit their friends I guess. Take up space. Be loud , rude , obnoxious, VAPING INDOORS. ON TOP of all this , THEY ARENT PAYING GUESTS.My experience Happened today : I bought 35$ worth of food, some for me, some to go , sat down to eat it at the Smoothie bar. 5 teenagers , COMING FROM chipotle came in. Basically completely took over the area I was sitting. BOUGHT NOTHING, then proceeded to sit at the smoothie bar,AROUND ME, and eat their chipotle. Being loud , crinkling their bag extra loud ,again , rude , elbowing me, just general disgustingness , the staff said NOTHING. They literally just let the neighborhood kids come in here and hang out and bother paying patrons. It shouldn’t be like this. This location has cameras ( allegedly if they work ),, this incident happened around 4pm. I urge management / corporate, SOMEONE , review the footage , and explain to me how this makes sense.Tianna, working the front register seemed nice ,, but the store still got my order wrong even after reading it back. I asked for onions on my sandwich. NOT my quesadilla.This is why Baltimore city gets the reputation that it does. I will absolutely never go to this location again. I will also be calling to get my money back.People shouldn’t feel unsafe at a smoothie shop. Someone Shoudve done something about the kids harassing me. Someone should’ve kicked them out for not paying. I’m not above cussing out a rowdy teen and making them publicly cry .. so to avoid this in the future,I will continue to go to the Columbia locations and other locations NOT IN BALTIMORE. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves.

First time at any location. Now I know what to expect when I return home. I stopped in to support a Morgan alum. I love how bright, clean and inviting the cafe is. The employee answered questions to help me decide on the smoothie to get. The Mango Magic with only mango, pineapple and yogurt was delicious. It seems like they come in only one size so this tasty treat will not be enjoyed often at all. :-)I was impressed. I wish you much success!
