Stopped in for a quick bite for lunch. Caesar salad and Maryland crab soup were great!

Everything I've tried so far has been terrific.
I ordered my mushroom Swiss burger medium rare. Came out well done, dry, and very salty. They were not busy so no reason other than didnt pay attention. The $20 crab cake sandwich didn't taste that fresh. Pretty fishy. Wife didn't finish it.
Kids' tenders and pizza were good, and the service was good. Wouldn't come back.
Best part of the meal was the $6.5 Guinness.

Really great place, always friendly service, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home - plenty of comfortable booths for you and your friends or just go sit at the bar itself. The Wednesday Burger night is a serious institution in the neighborhood with excellent pricing - but it's great all week!

Turp's is my favorite restaurant. I am not a sports fan! You don't need to be one either, the sports theme isn't aggressive. Their food is delicious and it isn't pricey. The drinks are delicious too - you could look at it as a bar with a full menu or a restaurant with a full bar, it does both seamlessly. And the food is so good!! The fried pickles are my favorite. Nowhere else does those justice. If you like diners you'll love Turp's.
