Really great place, always friendly service, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at home - plenty of comfortable booths for you and your friends or just go sit at the bar itself. The Wednesday Burger night is a serious institution in the neighborhood with excellent pricing - but it's great all week!
Turp's is my favorite restaurant. I am not a sports fan! You don't need to be one either, the sports theme isn't aggressive. Their food is delicious and it isn't pricey. The drinks are delicious too - you could look at it as a bar with a full menu or a restaurant with a full bar, it does both seamlessly. And the food is so good!! The fried pickles are my favorite. Nowhere else does those justice. If you like diners you'll love Turp's.
I went in for lunch. The Amtrak station offers next to nothing. The food wasn't bad. The price wasn't bad, but I got no utensils and the music reminded me of a club back in the 90's blasting punk and alternative music. Really at
