We came here for an early dinner on the weekend. The place has a nice outdoor area, but it wasn't open as it had just rained. The inside is small, but full of character. The menu has something for everyone who likes pizza and a few other good Italian dishes. Their chicken wings are also quite good. As it relates to their pizza, it is delicious. It is a very well done Detroit-style deep dish. They also have a large selection of vegan pizza options. Their large pizzas have eight slices, and the personal has four, both of which is more than enough for those who want to share - especially if you are ordering appetizers. They also have a fulsome drink menu. The service is friendly and attentive.

Definitely good food! I deducted one star because the cheese sticks were not that good. But the pizza, atmosphere and service is top notch!!

My family and I are in Baltimore for the weekend and we stopped at Underground Pizza Baltimore right after checking into our hotel. We loved the atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic. We ordered the Fried Chicken Sliders with a side of French Fries. The Sliders were very good but those fries were magical. Why can't everyone make fries that good.

We also ordered 2 half orders of the pizza. We ordered plain and pepperoni. The pizza is thick and soft in the middle but with the crunchy outside. I've never had Detroit Style pizza before but this was really good. Definitely pizza you want to eat while consuming adult beverages because it is the perfect pairing.

For drinks we ordered Rootbeer and my kids got lemonade. They basically hand made the lemonade from mixes they had at the bar and the soda is Maine Root Soda which is fantastic.

The dinner made the start to our trip fantastic and tough to beat.

Thanks UPB!

I was picking up an Uber order today, having the worst possible week. I get there and the girl at the bar was so kind. She offered me some water while I waited. It made my day.

The wings were terrible; I can get better ones from the local grocery store. $30 for a Detroit style pizza is complete rip off considering it’s 60% bread. Pizza crust was completely black.

My first time here and it felt like the scene in ratatouille, when the chef tries remy food at the end and he is teleported to his young self. The pizza left me speechless, one of the best pizza I have ever had. I can’t stop thinking of it 🄲

Hands down the best pizza in Baltimore. I had the Detroit-style Pickle Bacon Ranch and I still can’t stop thinking about it. The crust was crispy and caramelized just right, the mozzarella was melty perfection, and the combo of dill pickles, bacon, and house-made ranch was pure magic. Every bite was delicious, savory, and totally addictive. 10/10 - I can’t wait to order it again!!

First time in Baltimore, visiting the aquarium, and this spot caught my eye, ordered the roni double pep and I genuinely enjoyed it, I loved how sweet the sauce was but not overwhelming and the cupped pepperonis were perfect, service was wonderful and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Positives: food was good and choices are creative. Negative: custom orders were not honored and there was no explanation why.

This place has recently made its way back into rotation as my go to pizza spot. But it’s coming back off. Plenty of better alternatives in the direct area.

When you pay $40+tax for a pizza that’s way over-salted to enjoy, it quickly makes you reevaluate. The margin of error is slim at that price and rightfully so. That being said I hope you all work on the season balance in your crab pies for future customers. Too much oldbay/salt is just as bad as too little.

Great pizza, good service, but if you like ranch with your pizza, proceed with caution. They give you a tiny cup (not even full), then tell you afterward it’s $2/cup 🤯 ā€œbecause it’s homemadeā€, which it was decently good, but not $2 good for the half filled tiny cup worth.
