UPDATE: Thank you to the owner for responding to my review apologizing and explaining. I do appreciate it.

REVIEW: First, I like this place--staff are friendly, responsive and try to accommodate requests. Salads are beautiful and delicious--love the colors, textures and flavors.

So, it's with great disappointment that I found a live spider crawling in my salad--I was willing to not put too much energy into that--as with produce with insects can happen, I guess. However, about 20 minutes after leaving the place my stomach was cramping/churning, and it was clear I needed to get to a bathroom rapidly as my body needed to expel the food I consumed.

Maybe the lettuce wasn't cleaned--dunno. Do insects die when lettuce is washed and refrigerated and dried--dunno. Never had a live spider in my salad in all my years. Was the lettuce cleaned???

Stomach is still very queasy hours later and I am staying near the bathroom. The mega slice with pesto also didn't taste fresh--not like its normal deliciousness. Will I give this place another chance--maybe. Just hope they clean the lettuce and the pizza is as fresh as I know they can make it. I am so disappointed because the salads and food are good at this place.

Excellent casual, bar dining experience. We went for a late lunch. First time trying Detroit style pizza and we loved it! The crust was so crispy and the dough was perfectly done. I would def go for the crazier/non-traditional flavors next time, the neapolitan pizza was a little underwhelming compared to the mexicana and the tiger king, which were amazing! Highly recommend.

I'm a regular here and always will be for as long as I live in Baltimore. I didn't even like thick crust pizza until I tried Underground, now I've tried several types of pizza from them at this point and none have even come close to disappointing. The Tiger King pizza is the best pizza I've ever had in my life. Their cheesecake sliders are incredible. I've tried several flavors of the wings and they're solid though they could get sauced a bit more. The service is always fast and friendly, and the vibe in the place during the times I've dined in is chill and welcoming. Caught a preseason game there back in the fall and it was super cool, should've caught a few more there during the season. All around would recommend to anyone, and will definitely be bringing my visitors from out of town here.

Renewed Hope

The restaurant added an extra $5 to the tip I gave. I noticed it on my bank statement. I’m not sure if others dealt with this and if it’s a common practice at this restaurant but it’s unacceptable.

Absolutely the best gluten free pizza I have had. Thick, rectangular, crispy crust, great sauce…. My wife had gluten full and it also looked amazing. It was the best meal we had in Baltimore and we went to some fancy places.

Mid pizza and service was trash. Every time I asked for something I was told it would be extra (as if I couldn’t afford it) but that wasn’t the case for the palm colored people beside us. Hard pass, hopefully the Towson location is better.

We are from Brazil and we love this little pizzeria. Very unique pizza, thick crust, extremely tasty. Pleasant atmosphere and Rhiannon's service was sensational.

The pizza was great, wings great and Mac and cheese bites great! The house salad was delicious. Music was a little loud to enjoy conversation at the table but atmosphere was good. Would definitely go back and recommend!

Finally decided to to check the hype out. The restaurant was definitely very lively when I got there. Ordered a large.pizza and it didn't take.to.long and it was ready. Got the vegan cheese which was pretty amazing. I honestly didn't think it was vegan at first which could have been really bad for.me. The pizza was extremely good smaller than I'm used to but really good. I have to say the pizza is off the chart good. I look forward to coming here for my next pizza fix. Must try place.

Very expensive. Good for a family get together so everyone can chip in a couple bucks. $44.00 for the Tiger King which is half the size of a reg square pie. Other than Price for what looks like 1/2 pies, everything we had was a 8.7/ 10 due to the crispy burnt cheese crust around the edges. It gets you tired trying to chew it. Big mozz sticks great sauce. Salad , gluten free mushroom pie could’ve used more mushrooms if there were any at all the crust was better than any other we’ve had. Plain pie very the tasty kids loved it. Gotta try it at least once. If you can afford it maybe twice.
