I had the absolute pleasure of having Up In Smoke Catering my wedding in October 2022. The food was absolutely perfect, and plenty of leftovers for us to eat on our wedding night. The service was top notch, and the owner was very helpful and did his absolute best to make sure our guest were full and happy. 10/10 would recommend!!

Once I placed my order and had to wait approximately 2 hours for the ribs to get prepared that day; not sure what the issue(s), was not given a reason. The customer service is very poor; no smiles, thank you or professionalism. Not satisfied with quality of food. Abruptly shut down at end of summer with no notice.

I got a pit beef sandwich on 7/2/21 around 2-2:30pm , spent $10.06. First they didn't ask how I wanted it, as far as well done, med. rare, etc. But whatever, then I get my sandwich and the beef was so pink on on the inside it looked almost raw, the texture was terrible and too chewy with more fat then meat. It had absolutely no flavor or seasoning, but I understand that some people don't like too much salt, but if you want to make a good roast, and for it to stand out from anyone else's, you marinade it and at least put some kind of seasons on it, it didn't even taste as if it was grilled, more like boild in plain water.This was the worst pit beef Sandwich I have ever had in my life. I took a few bites and had to throw it away it was so terrible, I was so upset that I wasted my money, again on food in this city. Also the customer service could have been better, it wasn't bad, but they weren't really all that friendly, and no smiles. I will never ever go back there again, I try to support black businesses, but I am so tired of bad quality and poor customer relations, I do not, and will not recommend this place.

There's always a line and you need to go early since the food is very tasty! The ribs, chicken, and pit sandwiches are dynamite and the sides are true comfort food. The prices are comparable for the food portions. You can't wrong with whatever you order. Enjoy!!!
