Urban Roost Sports Bar and Grill

Watch the bartender gossip with coworkers, talk crap about the previous customers and do everything but ask me if I’d like a drink or food. I sat there for 10 mins. When it was clear she was ignoring me on purpose I left. I asked the previous customers outside about the service and was told that the bartender was rude, condescending and purposely ignoring them as well. Peter's Pour House Is right around the corner, and the service is great. Don’t waste your time here, they can keep their unprofessional and lazy barkeep.

We ordered food and drinks in an uncrowded hotel bar. The nachos were cold and were unlike any other nachos we’ve ever ordered - a disgrace. The burgers were fine, not much to say about them, and the old bay fries were very good. Service…or lack there of was slower than I’ve ever witnessed. I think there were about 6 people sitting at the bar and 5-6 people at tables. We were not checked on and when we asked for something, it’d take 5-10 mins. 5-10 mins for one beer is absolutely ridiculous. We would definitely stay at the hotel again, but will not plan on going back to the bar and grill.

Urban Roost is solid, Good Pizza & Great wings. The bartenders are consistently good, I'm very particular when it comes to Cocktails but they get me right every time.

A pleasant surprise upon arriving at my hotel the Residence Inn by Marriott downtown Baltimore.
Food was surprisingly good for a hotel bar/ restaurant. Most nights the bar was packed. The drinks during happy hour amazingly affordable. $5 to $6...
My only negative that I noticed was one of the bartenders (who had a scar on her arm) kept using glasses to scoop ice out of the ice bin... A bartender definite no no. Imagine if just a tiny piece chips off that glass... You either empty the entire ice bin in the middle of a busy bar then dry it out and vacuum it out... Or you run the chance if someone getting that chunk of glass in with their ice in their drink.
But with all that said I would definitely return again. Good food, stiff Long Islands.

So I have been here all week. And have order the urban Cobb salad the young lady that has been taking my order was not here on this day which was Friday ,7/26. So this young lady on this day 7/26 was not nice asked me if I just wanted the Caesar salad I shared with her no.

I asked for certain things not to be added and I asked for extra red onion when I did the huffed had an attitude and called out the cook to take my order. Why I don't know.

I am not the type to not tip.

But I do work in customer service and I was not pleased.

Young lady that has helped me all this week except for today July the 26th was the sweetest understanding never complained about anything took my order what I didn't want on it and added what I wanted without no complaints so I don't understand what her problem was but I just wanted to share her customer service is poor.

Enjoyed the food the Chef and Kierra were pleasant and personable Good Experience drink menu could have more options.

Friendly service, clean facility. The food is average.

Our food came out cold. The nachos were cold and my onion rings were ice cold. Then my pizza came out made incorrectly. Service was iffy. They couldn't split checks at the end. It was a very lackluster experience.

My family and I went in for dinner, and the staff was so patient and kind! The food was wonderful and we appreciate them accommodating for our gluten-free family member! I would personally recommend the Charm City Smash Burger! ❤️

This is a great hotel bar and restaurant! Since I was here last year they're under new management, and it's really solid now. Good food (burgers, pizza), good drinks (beers on tap and mixed drinks), and the service is great. Tonight, for example, the manager, Adrian, and the bartender, Kierra, were both super helpful and professional. It's nice to be able to stay in the hotel some nights still have good food and drinks.

Great place for an afternoon lunch. The servers were very personable and added to a pleasant atmosphere. Still working out kinks of just opening. Will come back again on our next trip to Baltimore.

The Urban Roost inside the Residence recently reopened, it was the 17 Restaurant. They have very nice Sports Bar menu and cool pool table for hotel and dining guests. Beers on draft and pizzas highlight the menu. The hotel is within minutes of the Inner Harbor & “Charm’tastic Mile”.
