I was at this bakery recently and I confess that I was disappointed. I don't understand the hype, because they weren't good at all. Don’t look or taste Italian. Pretty normal. I ordered a mini canolli and three mini canollis arrived. I thought they put gelato in the middle but it's a sweet spread that despite being different types, they all seem to have the same flavor. The powder cinnamon on top steals the remaining flavor. Everything else seems to be hydrogenated and very artificial. However, the attendants are great and helpful. The environment is small, but clean and organized. The bathroom was also clean.

My daughter and I were visiting from out of town and took an Uber to this restaurant based on reviews. We were not asked if our order was dine in or carry out, we got our food and sat at an open table. A very rude employee came over to us and told us we couldn’t sit there, stated the prices were different to dine in, asked us very rudely to leave. I explained we took an Uber and asked if we could eat there, she again very rudely said no and asked us to leave. The Atmosphere was fun, food good but the one employee completely ruined our experience. We chose to come to this establishment based on reviews, paid an Uber to go there and then we were treated horribly. I didn’t get the employees name, but blonde, chubby, very rude. She completely ruined a potential great experience. My daughter and I walked up the street to Waffle -Liciious and were treated wonderfully and able to eat at their tables. Wouldn’t recommend.

I wish I could give Vaccaro's 10 stars. It is one of the best Italian pastry shops in the country. I was in Baltimore for three days and went there every day. Their Napoleons are decadent. The cookies are prepared with wonderful flavors and choices. My fiancé loves the cookies with the sprinkles on them shaped as stars or hearts. I love the pine nut cookies . The Chocolate eClair is massive but amazing. I start by cutting it up and take a week to eat it. It is about 12 inches long. We got chip at dips for the cannolis and also an apple eclair and gelato. there's something for everyone. Highly recommend stopping here anytime

I honestly did NOT enjoy anything I ordered. The bread on my sandwich was stale, the cannoli cake had a funny aftertaste and I believe the eclair I ordered had been sitting for a few days and did not take fresh. I won't be going back.

My friend and I came down to Baltimore for the day and decided to stop here while walking around. When we walked in, nobody greeted us and they all just stared at us from behind the counter. There was no organization at all. My friend got the holy cannoli gelato and it tasted spicy, try the flavors before buying them. It was overall a very unpleasant experience and the up-charges were ridiculous.

Stopped in on a trip to Baltimore and got some mini chocolate covered cannoli that were filled to order. This was just the right amount of dessert. The cannoli shells were crunchy and the filling, while a bit loose, tasted yummy. It's been well over 10 years since I've been to Vaccaro's and the cannoli never disappoint.

***Written by our 8 year old daughter. My wife and I loved this place... highly recommend ***The food was great and it was only for 10 dollars. We were served pretty quickly but it did take a little while to get. The restaurant was clean and it was veryyy nice. For one big Sunday that was bigger than my hand, was only 10 dollars!!! The other thing is that the many different food choices there was only a tiny bit in each choice to choose from. For example, the ice cream selections only go to about 10 different flavors. In my opinion you should have a bigger selection of stuff to choose from when you are selling food. Meanwhile, the food was good and worth to wait for.
