In my years of soul food, you can tell when someone is out to make a quick buck. I ordered the rib dinner with cabbage and mash potatoes. For a drink I chose the lemonade. The rib texture was ok although it tastes like it was dipped in the bbq sauce. The cabbage had no flavor at all. The mash potatoes were instant mash potatoes. I for one can understand that soul food takes time, other than the ribs everything felt rushed..

I couldn't tell if the Mac & cheese was stovetop or baked but either way it was VERY bland, not cheesy at all. The fish was over seasoned, the cabbage was buttery.. I never in my life had cabbage that was buttery, very buttery. The fries were bland. I paid for a large lemonade & got a small. The cornbread was extra moist and bland. Overall it wasn't good. Only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because when one of the workers called to tell me he was out of green beans he was very nice & the delivery driver was very nice as well. They have good customer service & bad food. I hope they get better I will try again in a few months I believe they have potential to have good food.

I've eaten from alot of places but let me tell you the food is good I've eaten there 3 times this week. The potatoes salad is soooo good. Everything I have had so far is really good. Next I'm trying breakfast if I can get up

Not a chance again, delivery through Eat24 was not possible was told to cancel my order and reorder through Grubhub and with some casual excuses from the restaurant and Eat24...

I came in for lunch on their second day open. I got the BBQ chicken platter with collard greens and yams. The portions were large and the food was tasty. I will definitely be back.

Pretty good food. The beef ribs, bbq chicken and mac and cheese were all very good. Decided to get the sweet potato pie and it was good too.
The beef rib was perfect. It was tender, flavorful, and worth coming back for. I am a fan.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Even negative stars when if ever Yep makes it an option. We ordered our food for delivery and it took two hours to arrive. When we received our simple meal of corn on the cob, two servings of greens and black eye peas they came with 3 slices of cake and two ginger ale. Though it was a nice gesture that would have been received kindly but we couldn't due to the fact that the food taste so unbearably terrible. The collard greens taste like they were out of the can from the dollar store and a tremendous amount of salt poured over them, the corn on the cob was clearly frozen from the grocery store. The black eye peas tasted as if they had been refrigerated for weeks and reheated. The "Freshly Squeezed Lemonade" was clear a soft drink generic brand pour into a cup. I am so very disappointed, upset and frustrated with the food we received. Especially after waiting two hours

I was looking for a place with good soul food and stumbled upton this place on Grubhub. Well, I was very disappointed. The pictures online make the food look great but that's not what I got. I ordered the whiting with mac and cheese and yams and chocolate cake. The fish was ok, not seasoned very well. I don't know what was going on with that mac and cheese and the yams were mushy. The cake was dry. Well I tried but never again.

Salmon was seasoned just a little too much. The sides were ok but doesn't taste homemade. I really want them to win so I will go back to try the wings. A few of the other customers told me the wings are delicious.
