Great pizza and service every time. The drinks are very creative coctails. Large wine selection.
We will definitely be back. Great food especially the pizza. A bit noisy but otherwise great!
Love the food! Pizzas are the best. Red sauce is tangy, rich and exquisite. But the noise level upstairs was almost untenable. Required shouting across the table to be heard by each other. Glad the place is doing so well on a weekday evening but hoping Verde considers some noise abatement upstairs. Our party of 4 walked out all spontaneously saying it was too loud! We'll definitely be back, but either dine outside or when we know it is a bit quieter time.
I just returned from a trip to Italy and my favorite food there was the pizza. I had heard Verde served real Italian pizza and it did not disappoint - SO delicious!
Great food and kind staff as usual! There were a couple of things cleanliness wise that just weren't ideal.
Went well. Waiter was exceptional. They did an excellent job and gave great recommendations.
We have our reservation at 6:00p & ate upstairs. I felt like I stepped back to the 50s with the music, vibes, & drinks - in a good way! Excellent service & food/drinks came out timely & was delicious! Loved our experience & we will come again. We didn’t try the date night prix fixe but will want to go back to try. We had burrata & pizzas. So delicious & fresh!
Absolutely love this neighborhood gem! José at the bar offered the best service and great cocktails! Super nice and welcoming, and the food was excellent starting with quality, fresh ingredients. I had the GF (one of the beat crusts I have had) Pizza Verde Rosso and ate the whole thing it was so good. Highly recommend!
Went off the reviews others left about the gluten-free crust. As someone with celiac, quality GF options are far and few, and this place is now on that list. Yall, the crust is really that good! You don't feel like you're missing out just because you have to eat gluten free! You can order to-go and not get the first and third course.
Delicious pizza, fantastic cocktails, and friendly service! Street parking in this area can obviously be challenging during rush hour, so plan ahead, but it's completely worth it!

The restaurant was a lot bigger than expected. It occupies two floors with the first floor being segmented into the front and back of the house. The front of the first floor has the bar which is more appropriate for young adults and associated parties. The back of the first floor is more suitable for families and larger parties. The upstair has a fairly large room for date night. The menu was quite expansive with a good selection of appetizers, salads, pastas, and pizzas. The portion sizes were generous and the price reflects that. The pizza was similar to New Haven style pizza with a bit of char at the bottom with a nice chew to the crust. The tomato sauce and cheese were of good quality. They were fairly liberal with the meat toppings, which made it a bit saltier than expected. But overall, it is some of the best pizza in Baltimore. A small step down from New Haven/New York style pizza but the closest you will get in this city.
I really liked Verde for the venue and the liveliness. The pizza wasn't the best I've had, but I may not have made the right choice for myself. The selection was the most diverse I've seen. The service was excellent. It was pretty loud, so those who are hard of hearing would have difficulty with conversation. I would recommend it to those who are adventurous and want a niche experience.
A nice surprise. The pizza was excellent and had a different flair to it. The neighborhood setting is nice, and we were able to find parking on the same street. OBTW, the drinks are also excellent.
Great restaurant for casual fare. The lasagna was excellent and the pizzas were cooked to perfection and tasty. Very generous portions. We ordered 3 pizzas for 3 people and ended up taking 1 whole pizza home. No cooking tomorrow! It has a decent selection of wines and great service.
This is our favorite pizza spot in the city! Drinks are always on point, interior is cozy and ambient, and the service is stellar. My sister, who is vegan, had plenty of options and was very happy with her meal. Jose took great care of us, we will be back on Wednesday's for the free draft wine/beer for teachers & first responders, and of course more pizza.
