This is actually my favorite spot but they have there picks on great service. The older lady has poor customer service she’s rude. I ordered two doubles and goat bussupshut. The doubles were old I return she was rude in denial and when she did take it back they made mine from back which they never do so as I get home start eating the chana was not done big hard like uncooked beans also they put so much pepper on them. How can I trust a spot like this when they play with your food out of spite. The goat might be old as well my stomach still hurts. This only Trinidad spot I know any suggestions in Baltimore City area or just in Md I’ll travel for some good food. I wish I had photos but I literally threw the doubles out. The goat will be next.

The food at West Indian Flavor II is not good or tasty. Rice and beans were really dry. Cabbage was too crunchy and mixed with other vegetables (broccoli florets and carrots) not requested. Oxtails were small, hard with so much cartilage and not well seasoned. There was hardly any sauce in anything. I could not eat the meal. It costs $23.00/each and I bought 2. Both went into the trash. Pineapple and soursop drinks were weirdly foamy and costs $10 ea.
Staff were attentive and congenial. Service was quick as I was the lone customer. There were no diners at lunch hour. I will never eat food from this place again.
NOTE: West Indian Flavor II is not Royal Maroon, which is directly next door (inside of Blue Caribbean. Royal Maroon had absolutely scrumptious food and better prices.
I rate West Indian Flavor II a low 2 out of a possible high of 5.

Tried to come here to order some food and I was disappointed, there were only a couple staff working both the cash and putting away food and they were both a bit slow and getting things ready. I waited in line for nearly 40 minutes hoping to get served along with others still waiting for food. I eventually walked out because of the wait but also because they staff was handling money and food using the same gloves so that was a no for me. Very disappointed as I wanted to try the food

The food is great. ORDERING AHEAD IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. You may have to wait a little until the food is ready.

Average food. Average service, yet better than the previous owners. They are eat-in or take-out. However, it is not esthetically suitable for dining in.

I’ve always appreciated supporting a Trinidad business, but I’ve noticed a decline in food quality over the past year. Unfortunately, my boyfriend recently experienced food poisoning after ordering a beef roti. Out of caution, I decided not to eat mine. Please do better because I wouldn’t want this experience for anyone else.

I had Dhalpoure dozens of times in Trinidad...this spot is missing some flavors. It's bland compared to the authentic version. Even the curry tasted watered down.
Food was disgusting chicken was dry rice was dry no jerk sauce ugh I should’ve went to Montego Bay like I started to but it was packed and I was in a rush never again will I patronize this place tho the food is disgusting amd they have someone in the kitchen working with severe dry and peeling skin didn’t notice until she handed me my food

Only trini restaurant close to me. The service is the worst. They are so slow. You call to order, they telling you to come in. When you do, it takes 10 Mins just to get someone to say can I help you. Everyone moving around the kitchen and nobody greets you. I wish there was a better trini restaurant closer.oʻ

This used to be the best place to get food. They are clearly under new management and cooks have changed. The curry chicken was spoiled. Potatoes were literally so sour couldn’t even finish the first bite. Waste of $80.

It was my first time this year buying food from West Indian flavor II. I got curried beef roti for 4 people. We ate around 6pm. The curried beef didn’t have much flavor but what was bad was we all were woken up with stomach pain and diarrhea that kept me up all night. It was bad. I called the restaurant to let them know and was told to come in again so they can make it up to me. Not sure I’d want to do that. No offer was made to reimburse me for the $71.82 I spent.

Not the best Trinidadian experience. Their food was very flavorful in the early 2000's when they were on Mc Elderry. Not so much as of July 2024. I will not return. The amount of money spent was no comparable to what was received.
We ordered curry shrimp roti, stew beef buss up, and spinach.
Curry Shrimp was bland.
Stew Beef was absolutely awful, bland, tough, and riddled with gristle.
What a huge blow for Trini food. It's already extremely difficult to find in Baltimore. Yes, I a Trini to de bone.
Their dishes don't deserve pictures.
