Average bakery. I only game an issue with one young man. Always unfriendly and appears agitated. It’s a neighborhood bakery and he seems to care less. The other employees are super sweet!

I called the bakery in advance to confirm their hours of operation and to inquire about the cutoff time for placing a Christmas Eve cake order. The young lady I spoke to assured me that the deadline was Saturday. However, when I visited the store on Saturday to place my order, I was told the actual cutoff was Friday. This miscommunication was extremely inconvenient, especially since I had traveled a long distance to get there and had never been to this bakery before.
After speaking with the manager, she explained that everyone in the store knew the cutoff was Friday, but when I asked why I was given the wrong information on the phone, she didn’t offer much of an explanation. While I understand mistakes can happen, the lack of clarity and communication made this experience frustrating, and I’m disappointed with how it was handled. I was ordering a cake for someone who likes this bakery, but given this experience, I won’t be returning.
Someone gave me a Woodlea pecan pie this thanksgiving and it was the best pecan pie I've ever had. I love pecan pie so Ive made it many times and tried everyones but woodlea tops them all. They chopped the pecans on top and I loved it!

We ordered our wedding cake through Woodlea Bakery and we were so happy!!! Everything was to order and the cake came out amazing!!
They listened to what we wanted and made it happen. The cake was a hit and we really only had the top tier to take home as everyone enjoyed!!
I returned to them for other baked goods and haven't been disappointed. We will return for any other specialty needs as well as daily wants!!
Delicious! Family owned business for several generations. An icon bakery on belair Road. Everything they make is wonderful! From the donuts, to cakes, pies and breads. Definitely worth a stop! Two locations!
