Zeffert & Gold Catering and Event Planning

Zeffert and Gold were amazing from start to finish. Lisa, specifically, was so helpful and accommodating. She answered all of our questions promptly, and helped soothe my anxiety. The all-inclusive pricing was very fair considering all that was included. We looked at other catering options, and there was a lot that Zeffert and Gold offered that other caterers did not. The food was so good, and our wedding guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Sarah also was very attentive on our wedding day, and was always available to bring us food and drinks. I would highly recommend Zeffert and Gold to anyone having a party.

Could not imagine having a better caterer than Z&G. Samantha was wonderful to work with from the first inquiry to the end of the night. The food at the tasting was so good there may have been tears and we knew we had to go with them. We had stations because we wanted a variety of delicious food options and guests told us they loved the stations/small plates and the food was some of, if not the best, wedding food they have had. Food was one of our priorities for our wedding and we loved our menu and passed apps so much. The dessert parfaits were also delicious. Z&G helped to make our day stress free, and even accommodated us with our outside dessert. The linen colors, floor plan, menu napkin folds, table set up, dessert flips and all the other details that come with a wedding were taken care of flawlessly. 100% recommend Z&G to other couples and hope we can attend an event with them as the caterer in the future!

Zeffert and Gold deserve a 6 out of 5 stars!! Matt Gold and Matt Cobleigh were an absolute pleasure to work with and provided excellent service, were easy to reach, punctual in response and delivered a fabulous product!! They came highly recommended by our other vendors and one friend, and now I understand why! Their attention to detail and their hospitality stands out! I’m still in awe at how beautiful everything turned out! The day of our wedding , they exceeded our expectations and took such great care of my husband and I. They worked very well with our vendors and helped keep us on time! Thank you so so so much for making our day beautiful!

Such a great experience working with Zeffert & Gold for our wedding. We worked with Adelaide as our event designer, who was incredible. She made everything so easy on our end. The food was amazing, the decor was beautiful, the staff were amazing and so nice. Everything was perfect. We cannot be more grateful to Z&G.

We highly recommend booking Z&G! My husband and I are from outside of Philadelphia, so we were unfamiliar with many of the vendors local to our Maryland venue. We were required to select our caterer from an approved list our venue supplied and we are SO glad we chose Zeffert & Gold. Lisa was incredible through the planning process and was SO accommodating. After the tasting, we couldn’t believe how delicious the food was and we were so excited for wedding day. The food was phenomenal (both the cocktail hour and plated dinner options) and our guests continue to tell us this was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was so attentive throughout the day! My husband and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding day. Absolutely would hire again and again!!

Zeffert and Gold catered my wedding of 150 people this past week. They were absolutely sensational. First off, our main point of contact, Adelaide, was a complete rockstar. She was so on top of communication, speaking to me with clarity and presenting all of the options and prices in an upfront manner. I did not get this from most other catering companies. On the day of, they worked with us seamlessly. When guests were forgotten on the seating chart or unexpected appearances occurred, Zeffert solved problems without a single blip. On top of that, the food was fantastic, and everybody thought so. At the end of the night, they provided us with goodie bags to have as a midnight snack. Delicious food, amazing staff, and an incredible point of contact. I could not have asked for any better!

They did it all! We are so grateful with the friendliness and professionalism of staff. They answered all our questions from start to finish, they made the process easy and gave us a beautiful day. From our planning phone calls to the tasting to the venue walk-through to the wedding day, the entire Zeffert staff was extremely professional, communicative, and easy to work with. The food was beyond delicious, and our creative director, Matt, thoughtfully helped us to design a menu that reflected our cultural backgrounds. Zeffert was even flexible in trying new recipes to recreate dishes that were culturally meaningful to us! Moreover, the Zeffert wait staff and bartenders were so kind and friendly during the wedding itself. We are thrilled with Zeffert and could not recommend this caterer highly enough!

Absolutely thrilled with our experience with Zeffert and Gold for our wedding! From start to finish, their service was exceptional. Samantha, who we worked with during the planning phase, was fantastic—her extensive knowledge of our venue and quick responsiveness made everything so much easier. On the big day, JJ was our go-to person, and he truly went above and beyond. He ensured everything ran smoothly and was incredibly attentive to our needs. The food was simply outstanding, earning rave reviews from our guests. Overall, Zeffert and Gold provided a seamless and delightful catering experience that we’ll remember fondly. Highly recommend!

My daughter and her husband chose Zeffert & Gold Catering for their wedding this weekend (7/20/24) at the Heron Room. They were fantastic! Samantha was very thorough with all of the planning, the entire staff were very professional, and the food was fantastic! A special shout out to J.J. and the bartenders!

Zeffert & Gold provided exceptional service for our wedding. While a different vendor provided our food, our venue required that one of their "approved caterers" handle the food/ alcohol service and distribution, and we could not be happier that we chose Z & G. We worked with Adelaide for planning and she was professional, communicative and patient will our many questions and concerns. The service, table settings, linens, bar, etc. were all fantastic and we have zero complaints. Z &G did provide our signature drinks (spicy margarita and lavender lemonade) desserts (donut bar and banana foster) and both were amazing as well. Thank you so much to Adelaide and Zeffert & Gold for such a successful wedding!

Zeffert and Gold is simply amazing! They customized a complete food menu for us and our guests are still raving about the food. They packed up the leftovers for us very meticulously! The staff at our wedding flipped our room from ceremony to reception way faster than planned and made sure all of our guests were taken care of. They could not have made the wedding planning process easier or more fun. They are so organized and helpful!

The catering experience at Zeppert & Gold Catering was exceptional! I catered the gourmet desserts to add to the wedding experience for the Jones/Ziegler wedding. The gourmet dishes were exquisite!

The evening of Johns Hopkins Graduation, our daughter and housemates wanted an Open House for family and friends. Z&G were amazing. Everything was perfect. Great team, food, setup, and cleanup! Easy for us - which is exactly what we wanted!
