Zeffert and Gold was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of all night long. Food was absolutely amazing! Tables/linens looked beautiful and elegant. My husband and I could not recommend them more. Thank you so much!

My husband and I are so happy we chose Zeffert & Gold as our wedding caterer. I was sold at the tasting!! Our wedding was almost six months ago and our guests still talk about how good the food was when they bring up the wedding. We received no complaints, and everyone was completely satisfied. This picture shows just the hors d'oeuvres that my content creator quickly snapped on my phone when they brought the tray over to us after the ceremony… but the picture doesn’t do our entire menu justice. We cannot say enough good things about Adelaide and Zeffert & Gold! Every member of the catering staff is helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure our guests were comfortable and taken care of. The team makes the process of selecting your food, tasting, and confirming final headcount easy and stress-free. The food is tasty and is well-worth the value. Adelaide is one of the BEST VENDORS you will ever work with - she is organized, professional, kind, and knowledgeable. To give one example, when another vendor sent over a lopsided wedding cake on the day of the event, she fully re-frosted and re-deisgned the cake so that we could have our cake cutting ceremony. Absolutely incredible service. We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that you use Zeffert & Gold for any event.

Came in clutch for a last minute catering event at Under Armour HQ. Food, drinks, and service were amazing during the event. But on top of that the pre-event prep was amazing. Didn’t have to worry about any of the catering because we knew Z&G was on it and ready! Thanks Z&G for helping “Protect This House” during a huge launch event for us!

We hired Zeffert and Gold to cater our wedding and they were nothing short of spectacular. Matt and Amie were so easy to work with, from the initial menu planning, guidance, to the tasting, to the day-of execution. Their food is delicious (you really can't go wrong with any of their offerings), and the day-of crew made everything happen so flawlessly. 10/10 experience. Our guests were gushing about the food for days/weeks after! Thank you Zeffert and Gold team!

Phenomenal food and service!

The team at Zeffert & Gold was absolutely amazing to work with. Throughout the process, they were extremely responsive, helpful with larger picture wedding planning questions, and impressively accommodating about our own and our guests’ long list of dietary restrictions, putting us at ease about one of the biggest components of our wedding. My partner and I both pride ourselves on being foodies, and it was important for us to make sure we had excellent food without breaking the bank. Zeffert & Gold stepped right in, and so many of our guests have continued to compliment how good the food was. All their team members, all the way to the bartenders and serving staff were very fun, yet professional and efficient. I’m already brainstorming if we have another upcoming event that we can possibly cater with Zeffert & Gold for!

Went to a fundraiser gala catered by Z&G. Everything and I mean everything was delicious. I don’t often leave reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed the gala food this much that I feel compelled to leave one here. The bars were FULLY stocked, the passed hors d’oeuvres were all unique and SOgood (and plentiful). The plated meals were amazing from the salad to dessert. I was so shocked. It was as good if not better as a high end restaurant.

The dessert concept was adorable and the chocolate “caviar” was to die for. And this is coming from someone who typically doesn’t like sweets.
Met the owner after and she was super friendly! Next time I do an event I will be calling Z&G.

Adelaide and Zeffert & Gold's team made our wedding a day to remember. We enjoyed working with Adelaide from the get go. She was extremely responsive, thorough, and thoughtful. She was also understanding and patient as we had multiple tastings to figure out our menu. As well, we had a custom wine selection outside of their normal selection that she helped facilitate. At the month of, she made picking out the table settings and arrangements a breeze. And on our wedding day everything came out perfectly. Everybody we talked to loved the food and beverage. A wonderful catering experience for our wedding in Annapolis! Zeffert & Gold came recommended from our wedding planner who had worked with them before, and we are so glad we hired them for our wedding! Matt and Amie Gold were responsive and professional from the very beginning. Our tasting was thorough and so much fun and the food was DELICIOUS!! We are still getting compliments 6 months later on our wedding food - both the appetizers and the plated meals. The day-of staff was incredible and so attentive, not only to us but to all of our guests...we heard multiple times how professional and pleasant everyone was. Delicious food at a good price point with awesome staff - we would definitely hire again for future events! Will be dreaming about the elote cups for a while!!

We used Z&G for our wedding and it was an incredible experience. The food was great, but the whole process was even better. We loved having a caterer that took care of SO many things that we didn’t even know about. We would recommend using Z&G for any upcoming weddings or parties!

We were considering Z&G to cater our wedding (and they were initially our top choice), but we were very disappointed overall. First, they charged us $200 just to do a tasting, while all other caterers we tried did the tasting for free. What made the situation more absurd was that they actually had my fiancée and I SPLIT dishes during the tasting such as the salad and entrees. My opinion was that the food quality was ok overall, but the salmon was very fishy. In our opinions, there were caterers in the same budget that not only provided much better client service (actually remembered details from our proposal and didn't unnecessarily overcharge us and make us share food) that also had better quality food.

We recently worked with Zeffert and Gold to cater two of our wedding events in August 2024. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to help us plan everything seamlessly.

The food was absolutely outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Equally impressive was the level of service. The staff was attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our events perfect. Their attention to detail and ability to anticipate our needs made the entire experience stress-free.

We went with the BYOB option and bartenders were great. They prepared the signature drinks ahead of time and there was never a long line for a drink.
