My boyfriend and I would not recommend this restaurant, don’t waste your time or money. He ordered a frozen strawberry margarita with a salt rim, they used pretzel salt which fell to the bottom of the the drink making it non-consumable. I got a peach sangria which ended up having a little fly in it. We both got burgers which were not seasoned and the fries were subpar, after enough salt and pepper we were able to eat our meals. On top of everything, the service was bad, the waitress took awhile to get us food and drinks and the live music was dreadful. If you want mediocre overpriced food, drinks, service, and music, this is your place. Will not return.

My family of 4 went to Silver Spring Mining Co on a Sat afternoon for an early dinner. The dining area was mostly empty. the server took our drink order and it took one drink ordered from the bar 20 min to get. We had to ask for our appetizers of a crab pretzel which came out burnt and soup twice in 15-20 min and got it in 30 min! Our dinners came out in about 35-40 min and were terrible!! The 2 Reuben sandwiches were burnt dried up bread, dried up meat, hardly no sauce or sauerkraut. We could not eat them! My husband ordered sour beef and dumpling along with a side of Cole slaw and got no Cole slaw and 2 dumplings. The young lady that served it had a real attitude when questioned about the error in the order. The chicken fajitas came out without chicken which took another 15 min to come out. My daughter in law had to sit and watch us eat staring at a plate of shredded cheese, lettuce and two little cups of condiments! The chicken was cold and tough along with cool greasy fried onions! She could not eat it! We all complained and the server said they were busy! We complained to the manager who said he would adjust our bill. He credited me less than the cost of one sandwich! We wasted $98 on inedible junk!

Definitely a great place for dinner. The food was simply fantastic. The service was great too. This was my first time here and I definitely will be back. I arrived here around 4pm before the dinner rush and it wasn't crowded at all. Ordered the Md crab soup and was a 10/10 , then the stuffed rockfish for my entree and it was bigger then expected which is obviously a good thing , it had huge pieces of lump crab meat on top , topped with cheese, ended the visit with blueberry bread pudding I literally can't say enough good things about this dessert,but it was amazing . Everything on the menu was very reasonably priced and affordable. The staff was great as well. Can't wait to return...
Parking: If the main parking lot gets full, there is additional parking on top of the hill .

This place was great! Love the fireplace! The menu had so many things I want to try - this was my first time here. I went with the ribs and fried shrimp, it was really good! My lady for the stuffed rockfish, which was outstanding. As an appetizer, we got the Bavarian pretzel. Probably one of the best I've ever had! Service was great, staff was friendly!

This is a great local restaurant with delicious food. Sue was our server, and she was great. I highly recommend asking for her on a Saturday night or during lunch almost any day. This is the home of the original crab pretzel, and it is king in comparison to any other. The sour beef and dumplings, ribs, and burgers are also excellent choices. Make sure to save rooms for dessert. The bread pudding and rice pudding are sooo good!

The food at this restaurant is nothing short of amazing, but what truly blew me away was the sour beef and dumplings. It’s a homemade dish that brought me right back to my childhood. My grandparents used to make this meal, and tasting it here made me feel like I was sitting at their kitchen table again. The flavors were authentic, rich, and comforting—exactly as I remember. It's by far the best meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant, and I can't wait to come back for more. If you're looking for something that tastes like home, this is the place!
