Nearly all of this menu is heavily salted dishes. But they taste good. The chicken pot pie is very popular & attractively priced, but not a big helping. The chessy wrap of chicken & crab dip is very appealing. I had the black & blue salad: the steak tips were generous & excellent. The gorgonzola was tasty & of good quality. The salad was very big--but so is the price at $21. The service was quick, methodical & efficient. We were sandwiched into the semi-private room that is very narrow & difficult for servers. The long table cramped the chairs side by side within inches of each other. The depth of the table is barely enough for you to get your plate on without touching the plate of the diner across from you.
A nice meal, but much too pricy for what you get, in a cramped & hustled atmosphere.

It's St. Paddy's day. Came for the corned beef and cabbage. It was $25 for what was listed as a large portion. It was the only option if you wanted Corned Beef and Cabbage and it was large, too large.A lot od Corned Beef and 4 large potatoes with carrots and cabbage. The food was ok but no flavor. I would suggest maybe offering 2l sizes as some people might enjoy such a large portion but I would have preferred a smaller portion that was slightly less expensive. As I get older it is hard to eat such a large portion.

Great food. Sour beef and dumplings are a real specialty. Unbelievably good. Forget about making it yourself.

We were seated right away, but no one came to wait on us for 20 minutes. Employees walked through occasionally but were not waiting on anyone. We left and went to outback, were seated right away and probably eating our food before silver spring mining Co even knew we left.

The best place for sour beef and dumplings, and the crab pretzel is great too.

Great place for families. I just find their serving portions to be a bit smaller than expected, but it was good flavor-wise.
I've been going to the Silver Spring Mining Company for years (since it was the Silver Spring Inn!) The food is excellent, including my favorite Sour Beef and Dumplings. This time I and a friend went to the Bel Air location. While the food was good, the service was less so. Even though the restaurant was only moderately busy, we felt rushed by the server. Even upon arrival, we felt less welcomed than I had expected. Maybe it was just an "off" night for the staff. Nonetheless, if you like good regional food, you'll like Silver Spring.

Always good food. Sometimes you have to wait a bit if it’s crowded, but it’s worth the wait.
