I've been going to the Silver Spring Mining Company for years (since it was the Silver Spring Inn!) The food is excellent, including my favorite Sour Beef and Dumplings. This time I and a friend went to the Bel Air location. While the food was good, the service was less so. Even though the restaurant was only moderately busy, we felt rushed by the server. It's been a couple of years since I have visited the Silver Spring Mining Company and the reason being the food quality for at least three visits in a row was not that good so we decided to give it a try again and I can say that food quality was much improved this time everything was nice and hot and made to order. overall environment is pretty cozy, especially when it's cold outside and they got their little fireplace burning. server was very attentive, and the manager came over...read full review

It's St. Paddy's day. Came for the corned beef and cabbage. It was $25 for what was listed as a large portion. It was the only option if you wanted Corned Beef and Cabbage and it was large, too large.A lot od Corned Beef and 4 large potatoes with carrots and cabbage. The food was ok but no flavor.
