Out of all the places I tried, best oxtail by far

Best Jamaican food in the DMW and I have have tried them all. Run don’t walk if you want authentic Jamaican food. You will not be disappointed. The food is consistent and flavorful. I have had the brown stew fish, brown stew chicken, oxtail and curry chicken. All have been outstanding. They have some specials that I keep missing because it sells out by lunch time. I cant wait to try the stew peas special on Weds that they make with oxtails. The owners look like they take great pride to ensure the food is always quality. This is my forever restaurant for good authentic, quality Jamaican food.

Finally. A jamaican restaurant that serves real authentic food. I felt like.I am eating at my Mom's house. The escoveitch very good. Enough coconut in the rice and peas.and cabbage delicious. I will be back

I always love coming here but today was not so good. I called ahead at 2:25 to order the lunch special. It usually takes them another 15/20 minutes before its ready anyways. I get there at 3pm to pick up my food and the gentleman at the front (not the old guy whos always nice) tells me they gave my food away. Im like why didnt you check to make sure you gave the correct order to the correct person.

He then says wait 5 minutes and ill bring you a new order. Of course its more than 5 minutes. Then he charges me full price of $20 instead of the lunch special price of $13. He tells me oh you didnt say that over the phone. I said yes i did. Ive been coming here for over 3 years and i order the same thing. I didnt feel like arguing over $7 but they definitely lost a customer.

I shouldve been charged the correct price and even more so the fact that he gave away my food. I can and will find another place to get brown stew chicken. I wont be back.

This food is beyond mid! The rice and peas were hard like bullets. The chicken was super dry and had the taste of a sweet and mildly spicy bbq sauce. The skin on the chicken also had a nasty rubbery texture.This was not worth the wait and I wouldn’t recommend you try the jerk wings maybe they have better options but the jerk wings were horrible.

Healthy portions. Full of flavor.

Great food, great service, great value and great vibes. Do yourself a favor and run here fast. Oxtail, Curry Goat, Jerk Chicken Wings, Brown Stew Chicken, Curry Shrimp all were banging!!

The Chicken was not fresh and probably THE worst… Jamaican food I’ve ever had. Such a waste! I don’t understand how they have such a high rating, I really don’t.

I heard about the curry goat, so I had to try it. I think the owner took my order, she was very sweet. I order the curry goat, white rice, cabbage and plantains!! Delicious, everything was seasoned perfectly, large portion of goat and gravy. Recommending the goat, I will be back for other dishes.

Bumbacloooooooooot!!!!! I've been to a lot of Jamaican restaurants but this one has the best Jamaican food I've ever had in Dc,Md, or Va

I had the oxtail dinner. It was surprisingly good. Clean restaurant with lots of parking and friendly staff. I will be back.

Great food every time. We always get the oxtail and love it. Great taste and generous portions. The owners are great too. We bypass other Caribbean restaurants closer to home to come here. Thank goodness we saw it on the way home from Costco. Now it’s a part of our regular Costco run. 😊

My go to for the best curry goat 🤤 well let me say EVERYTHING here is amazing. 10/10 for sure. Not to mention the customer service is always the best. When family from out of town comes we make sure we bring them here every time! The best Caribbean food in the DMV 👏🏻

Omg this is the first time coming to this restaurant and let me tell you it is DELICIOUS.
I’ve been craving oxtail so bad and i finally got some and it’s hands down the best I’ve ever had.
Also the owner was very sweet and they have wonderful customer service.
I definitely recommend!!
