Hard to find Jampong and Gampongi like this. This is all I ever eat here so can’t comment on the other stuff, but their noodles are handmade so I’m assuming their Jajangmien is good too. Nice to still be able to get the gampongi wings like this in the post-bonchon era.

I come here for the shrimp with garlic sauce and lollipop chicken. The black bean noodles is average but the best part is homemade noodles.

Do not come here anymore. The new generation have ruined everything. A pity.

I recently visited Daraewon, and it was such a great experience from start to finish! The restaurant has a clean, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were kind and attentive throughout our meal.
My absolute favorite dish was the 짜장면 — the noodles were perfectly chewy, and the sauce was rich, flavorful, and comforting, just like how it should be. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and savory depth that kept me wanting more with every bite.
We also ordered the 새우 깐풍기, and it was outstanding and my favorite!!
The shrimp were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated with a deliciously tangy and slightly spicy sauce that made the dish so addictive. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and pay attention to every detail.
Overall, Daraewon is a place I’ll keep coming back to. Whether you’re craving authentic Korean-Chinese dishes or just want a satisfying, well-made meal, this is the spot. Highly recommend it to anyone — especially families and groups — who want a great dining experience!

Best Jjambong in town with home make noodles. Very hard to find home make noodles freshly make from flour dough. Believe me they much better than noodle you buy from grocery store. Soup base are very tasty 👍👍 two thumbs up.

I ordered takeout for the first time since change of management, and the restaurant failed in terms of food and service. The food took almost an hour to be ready when I only ordered a noodle, fried rice, and a chicken dish. Every time I asked when the food would be ready, the staff lied, saying that it would be ready in a few minutes. The food was so bland as there was no seasoning. New management does not know how to run this restaurant.

I used to come here often with friends back in my college days, so it was nice to visit again after a long time. We ordered yangjangpi, jjajangmyeon, and shrimp kanpunggi. The jjajang sauce was just average, but the handmade noodles were really good. The yangjangpi was decent, and the shrimp kanpunggi was absolutely delicious. I also appreciated how the staff kept checking in and brought more side dishes whenever they noticed we were running low. It made the experience even better.
I have been eating here for over 10 years as the restaurant is located in my neighborhood. I have not tried everything, but I can tell you that the wings that they are famous for are worth it!. I did try something new because I saw the item on the customer’s table, I’ve uploaded both pictures to this review. The food is expensive but it’s high-quality. They are using top line ingredients. This is not your on the corner liquor store carry out place. This is the real deal and it is definitely worth going to at least once or twice a year at best .

The women here provided phenomenal customer service. Unfortunately I ordered the shrimp fried rice with no onions. The shrimp were very small and overcooked. I would not say it was worth the price due to how small the shrimp were. Their drinks only come in cans such as soda or bottled beer. There are no fountain drinks and no free refills. The only option for refills is water or paying for individual canned sodas each time. The shrimp fried rice was a major letdown. The pork and chicken dumplings were pretty good. They were large in size but did not have much flavor until I added soy sauce which gave them a nice taste. Overall I do not think I would come here again for the food but the service I received from my waitress and another lady who stopped by was very good.

My favorite Korean Style Chinese restaurant in the DMV area. Spicy seafood noodle is the best, and most of meat dishes are great.
I hope they make some combo menus such as noodle + small portion of meat dishes (탕짬면, 탕짜면) for lunch or pickup orders.

I ordered fried rice and with source. But they gave me not enough source, and ask more source. Then they changed me extra on the bill for source. Really?
