5 Tried this Bangladeshi restaurant near Silver Spring called Maurya Kebabs and Curries....its a hole in the wall kinda place, nothing fancy but good food. Tried their lunch buffet.....had goat curry, cabbage curry, butter chicken along with Naan and pulao rice.....loved it. Definitely try them out. Shibani manages the front along and Desmond cooks up the delicacies

I love Indian food, one of my favorite dishes is curried chickpeas. I went to this restaurant with no expectations and emerged as a total fan. The dish was both tasty and sufficiently spicy to my liking. BOTH the service and the product taste made me happy. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I used to love the food here pre-pandemic but just ordered food via Uber eats and there is so much food color in the chicken tikka AND the spinach.. rice tastes stale and there is not even salt in the food. Sad to see this. Hope they change the cooks / chef anything to make this better

Finding really good Indian food is hard to find. So glad we found Maurya's. We eat here at least 1-2 times a month and agree that it is the best overall Indian food and kebob restaurant in the Maryland area! The portions are good and the price is reasonable. Also, the food is tasty and they calibrate spicy levels to meet your custom needs. Recommend this place/food to everyone!

We had the buffet on a Friday. Rice they had on the buffet was not taste but very oily. Butter chicken was too sweet. Other foods were fine. We found dishes which were not clean. Cannot recommend to anyone.Buffet price is not included any drinks.

I have been going to this restaurant for years, every 2 weeks. Food and service are consistently excellent.

First time I'd ever had authentic Indian food and wow this place was incredible. The Tikka Masala kebabs and butter chicken are top of the line, and the Chana Masala was absolutely incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The food is really great here! We eat Indian food often. We've never tried this place before. Very tasty. Many vegetarian options. Decor is basic. Soft music. But maybe next time I'll do dinner take out, more because of the plaza not the restaurant itself. If I worked nearby, I'd be here all the time for the lunch buffet though.

I ordered takeout: Lamb Biryani, Channa Masala, and Saag Paneer. I'm trying to eat it right now, but it is all very, very bland and disappointing. The biryani is not actually biryani but clearly a lamb kebab buried under slightly mushy rice with some sort of sauce drizzled on top. Compared to others, the Paneer is oddly flavorless too, almost like an extra firm tofu type of experience.Of all the places I've tried Biryani in the DMV, this is the worst.

This is my absolutely favorite Indian restaurant! It’s a little hole in the wall, mom and Pop place that I enjoy eating at over and over again. As a vegetarian, I appreciate their numerous vegetarian options. I do not like spicy foods, but what is so great about their food is that even though I get mild dishes, every single one of them is brimming with delicious flavors. My favorite vegetarian dishes are the Navrattan korma, the yellow daal and the malia kofta. My favorite appetizers are the vegetable Samosa and the vegetable pakora. And their mango lassis are a sweet and wonderful treat. The prices are reasonable, especially since I usually get takeout and I’m able to get 2 to 3 meals out of every meal that I order.Vegetarian options: Wonderful and many vegetarian options to choose from.
